Removal Notice: Durian Rider

This morning I chose to remove Durian Rider from GI2MR.
If you've been here for long, you know that we've had a few incidents with DR on GI2MR. If you ask DR rider about these incidents he'll say that we have something against 80-10-10.
That couldn't be further from the truth. I regularly recommend the online community 30 Bananas a Day (which DR and Freela started) to people who want more info on 80-10-10. In fact, when Freela was first setting up the 30 Bananas A Day community she asked me for advice on building communities and I gladly helped.
So this isn't some sort of "raw conspiracy" even though I have a feeling that DR will try to make it sound that way.
So what is this about? This is about being a nice, decent human being and respectful to others.
DR, especially in the last 2 weeks, has repeatedly attacked members of this community with his "80-10-10 or die" message. To spread what he is up to, he puts others down. That's his style and that's fine, but it doesn't work for us at Gi2MR anymore.
In his mind, DR thinks he is being "revolutionary" and "uncompromising", but his mentor, Dr Doug Graham, who is a friend of mine, would never act the way DR is acting. Putting others down to lift his message up.
As an example: In a recent posting about Anthony Anderson, the Raw model, durian wrote:
"look at that pic of anthony 'crying' with his 10k$ perfect white teeth.. poor anthony had to 'resort' to eating animal products cos he couldnt imagine victoria boutenko in a bathing suit.."
Ask yourself, "Would you want to be friends with this guy?"
Not me and not many others at GI2MR. So, DR, it's time to go.
Wish you the best of luck at 30BD. I love Freela and love what she is up to. If you want a new 80-10-10 roll model hit Freela up. Or hit up my buddy George Wiggins who is also eats 80-10-10 and is a deeply compassionate soul. Just email me and I'll introduce you to him.

These are "Public Forums" or also called a "Public Online Community". Nothing on the internet that is found on google searches could even slightly be considered "Private".

According to that logic, durianrider should be able to sue this site for denying him freedom of speech in a public space? (are you sure you want to debate this?)
I can assure you this is by no means a public space. Those who create and administer most websites get to decide who may see them, join them and be removed from them. No offense to Dhrumil, but it's more like a dictatorship than a democracy. It's the sole resposibility of the admin to decide who stays and under what condition.
Google and other search engines only provide a means to locate and link to sites based on query results. They point you here. You may be confusing the word accessible with the word public? Linking to this site via search engine is not the same as being a member with posting privileges. Posting privileges are grants not rights. They can be revoked without fear of messing with someone's so called "freedom of speech" in Internet forums.
This is a community. It's not a public space.

he was kicked off because he was a prick. there was a lack of civility in his rants.
as dhrumil wrote very clearly... he saw many people leaving BECAUSE of him. this is a social network.
it's not about free speech, per se. this, GITMR, is about community. the result would have been the same if we met face-to-face as a group rather than online. the group would splinter, fold, etc.

Freedom of speech does not allow you to yell "fire' in a crowded theatre when there is no fire.
A sense of civility and respect is a necessary part of speech. DR abandoned this principal.

DR's posts were passionate, but also in your face. That turns off a lot of people. So, I understand your decision, Dhru. But, I found that some people's replies to him were much more vitriolic than DR's original post. The attacks on his character were worse that his attacks on others. That really turned me off.
If we fight fire with fire, everything gets burnt.
Be nice, even when others aren't. Of what great achievement is it, to be nice only to those who are nice to you.
We may not always agree, but we can be agreeable.
We can't always oblige, but we can always speak obligingly.

I think the bottom line for the removal of this member boils down to someone who could not follow standard procedure to an agreement he made when he signed up to the group and continually violated that agreement over and over with little regard to other members.
I've only been here a few weeks and I'm glad to see that this site respected the rest of their members enough to make such a decision.

Hi agree with Erin, everything she suggested is very similiar to wha ti have found.
I am also seeing an accupuncturist and realize that we actually need cooked foods in our diet to support the spleen.
Healing with whole foods is a great start..

I've been doing some "research" on ear candling, and have found three different reports:
1) it's great, feels great, and really helps to clear out the sinuses/lymphs
