Friendship
Often when look back on our year we recognize that the highlights almost always come in the form of insights and friendships. This post is about the latter.

True Friends, be they real world or virtual, have the ability to remind us of our higher potential, inspire us to take action and lift us up when we've fallen down.

We're use to recognizing and appreciating physical friends. It's part of the human tradition of community. But it's a little tougher to recognize and appreciate online friends. Often the very people who have inspired us have no idea they've done so. We could read their daily blogs, skim their forum topics and watch their videos without any trace of an interaction. But, even though their might not be a trace of physical interaction, we can't deny for a moment that transformation has occurred.

This discussion is about honoring that person or those people that have helped you along your journey.

What a nice thread. There are so many people on this forum I appreciate--

Amanda White, Jennifer, Levke, Rawphi, Pink, Amanda, Pete, Uti, Xerxes, Chris, Clement, Jef for all being such beautiful people who I truly consider friends... And Suvine and Mish for being so sweet and fun. Starfire and Erin are such a wealth of open-minded information. RawTastic for being so full of love. Everyone else who has ever made me smile for being sweet, funny, fun, open-minded, loving, intelligent, inspirational... including Charles, Philip, Creig (Thanks for the awesome group!)... Dhrumil of course.

I love you all and you have really helped me in countless ways since I've been here!

There really are so many people who have inspired me on this site, for various reasons. Some of the big ones include:

* Bobby Barbaro. I think he seems like such a genuinely friendly guy and really dedicated to living and learning. He was one of the first people who spoke to me on here. He also introduced me to Marshall Rosenbergs Non-violent communication which I had never heard of. I've been really working on that the last 6-8 weeks. Its hard work, and Im a long way off but Ive found it really inspiring.

*Durian Rider. I love his little poems/songs. I really enjoyed his little beat-off on vegan fitness a few months back. Although I dont always agree with how he presents his information, I know he has a heart of gold and I find him so inspiring for the way he lives his life. He reminds me every day just by being himself how important it is to be true to yourself, to be tenacious, and to trust in the universe and life and just live. He also inspired me with this horrifying picture of him with a gigantic snake. I he handled it with such love and playfulness and he really reminded me that there is no danger in life other than that which I create in my mind, and that trust and love go a long way. He also reminds me of how much you can achieve with the right attitude and self-belief. I love him to bits.

* Barefoot Firerabbit. For is fantastic demonstrations of human potential. I have absolutely fallen in love with Parkour. Only in my mind at the moment, but one day, Im going to go crazy for it. Also, I spoke to him on msn just once and he was so inspiring. He really reminded me of the importance of being true to yourself, and of talking to everyone you come into contact with, with love and a genuine interest, even in the smallest momentary interactions. He rocks my socks.

* Xerxes. He reminds me to play. He has had me in tears of laughter, literally, with some of his posts. Hes also extremely knowledgable and articulate, and balances humour and knowledge brilliantly. He's very friendly and and supportive of others too. I really like him.

* El-bo. I really miss him. I cant wait til he gets back from his year long retreat. He is so caring and considerate, and very friendly.

* Erin Fraser. She is so knowledgable. There doesnt seem to be a topic mentioned that she cant offer something insightful to. I love how she has an internet reference for everything too. I really enjoyed hearing about her Medical Qigong experiences on here too. They sounds incredible.

*Spencer. He reminds me that true beauty and integrity shines through. He has the most mesmerising eyes, and I think they are a true testiment to his beautiful soul.

There are heaps of other people who have inspired me on here, but these are some of the ones that instantly came to mind.

Take Care

Adam x

Durian Rider (GENIUS)- perhaps the first raw fooder I heard of seemed to lvie a pretty sweet life got me interested in pursuing my health goals through this. stirring up the drama pot and for biking I pray that you can keep it up for at least 7 more decades. that would be pretty neat if you became a vicious breatharian. i look forward to you rhyming about being a breatharian

rawtastic... more like GENIUSTASTIC bwbaaahhaahhahahaha

Rawzi (GENIUS)- gave me a very warm welcome and really made me feel like this is a community and not a "website"

I feel that the members of this community are very strong psychically so the bonds are very very strong

First of all thanks to our Papa Dhru for creating the space where we come together. I've had a wonderful year here.

My list is long and if I don't mention a particular name here it is not a sign of the quality or quantity of my relationships.

My life would not be the same without the Raw Humour Group and the Laughter, Love and Wisdom that's shared there. Pete Vincent is an inspired leader and visionary, best of all he's human and unpretentious in his presence here. I'm so honored to be his Wingman any day.

Pink Lady Apple, Amanda White, Audrey, Barefoot, Charles, Xerxes, Suvine, Jennifer, Levke, Billions, Jef, Lisa B, Buddah Baby-Starfire, Rawtastic, Philip and all of those who have come and gone --- your presence here is a Blessing in my life! Thank you for sharing your Wisdom and your Love, my shifts to better health have been due to our friendship. Thank you for putting up with the rantings of this one.

Wishing You all Love and Joy, Light and Delight!

Wow! Looking at this thread made me tear up because everyone is so wonderful here. I would like to mention everyone but that is hard for me. I would say that some people may not know me very well but I usually know people the best who I worry about the most. =)

I wish there were easier answers in this world but then we wouldn't need each other and so for that reason the mystery is important. I would like to believe that there is more to life than meets the eye so that fear isn't necessary.

I am looking forward in the new year to getting to know people even better, helping more people, and making more people laugh. I would like everyone here to be more successful in every dimension possible.

I have a funny sense of humor sometimes and I hope people don't take offense to it- it is hard to hear the delivery here on line sometimes. I hope everyone a happy and healthy new year. I love you all!
