Give it to me Raw

I have some moderate aspirations to be a catalouge model someday...and I'm wondering if there's a lot of raw models here? What are your excersise routines? What do you find are the most beautifying foods that work for you? Or raw beauty treatments...? Tell me all your juicy secrets. :)

I do some modeling, though it has been put on hold a bit until I graduate. I'm actually trying to improve my appearance once again. When I started modeling I did ballet 3 days a week for a few hours each night. Now I do some yoga, bellydance, and zumba (Not as much as I'd like to, but I'm working on that). I found that in order to keep my skin clear I can never eat peanuts. Also, I have found that echinacea root improves my skin.

Zumba is a type of Latin/Brazilian/HipHop fusion dance

Hi Retta,

What is the problem with peanuts? I have never heard that about peanuts and skin problems... I love peanuts and want to get some raw peanuts so I'm interested in what you have to say about that... does anyone else notice skin problems with peanuts?

I breakout really bad whenever I have even the smallest amount of peanuts. I absolutely love how they taste, but face suffers when I eat them.

One thing I noticed on this site, an insane amount of beautiful people. I don't know if it's the food or what, but i'm sticking with raw foods. ;)

I am other than a raw model. I do however have some suggestions for you.
This book http://www.amazon.com/Eating-Beauty-David-Wolfe/dp/1556437323/ref=p..., was a massive inspiration to me when I first began my healing journey. One of my favourite 'raw' books.

Do some research on urea and its skin moisturizing properties.

Also fresh aloe vera is up there with urine.

The most important thing in my opinion for skin health, is clean flowing pipes on the inside, the quality and quantity of nutrtion coming into the body and the quality and quantity of water and salt in the body.

I own that book and have thoroughly enjoyed it...I just wonder, a lot of those beautifying foods are quite "fatty"...too much fat isn't as energizing sometimes...what do you think?

DW is a fatty :)

Keep it simple! GINGER! You can make a tea with grated fresh ginger and just pour some hot water over.

Isn't the panda gorgeous? And yes it really is eating an apple. I can't take credit for the picture though. It comes from Flickr and was taken by Swamibu.

I love apples too! I made a "killer-Raw-Apple-Pie" last week, with different kind of apples in it. It was so good I can't stop thinking about it. The panda-bear in the pic is soooo cute! Did you take the picture yourself?
