Give it to me Raw

Doug Graham says most raw food gurus are not raw.

So which raw food gurus eat cooked food?

apparently Doug Graham east cream cheese and bagels. I have heard this on a few forums. I wonder if it is true, anyone know?

we never truly know what someone eats unless we spend time with them,24/7....

I've heard about the bagel thing too (from someone who isn't prone to slander and has spent a lot of time among different gurus). I bet he only eats the bagel, not the cream cheese, since that would be an overt fat and one combined with carbs, at that!

Hey it's like you wonder if they do the philosophy on themselves, or if its too hard

Hmm not sure who exactly. People say david wolfe i think. What cooked food does he eat? Somebody I saw thinks they saw him in a burger king. haha that makes me laugh so much. I don't know. We need the raw papparazi stalking these people to get the snaps of them chomping into that pizza or burger.

Others are open about it. Sarma, not that I'd call her a guru, openly admits she indulges in some cooked food. Its not like its junk cooked though, she makes conscious decisions. I've heard the boutenkos aren't by durianrider on 30bd. I really just can't believe that. They are so genuine. I find it hard to believe they'd eliminate oils from their diet yet eat cooked food at the same time.

Then there's the whole 1 pecent cooked that people go on about. Yes most people aren't 100 percent raw unless they are 811 but what is a little bit of tamari or something like that. I mean its very different being a cooked food eater to a raw food minus a little bit of some tiny thing mostly raw foodist.

I know someone who personally saw DW in a Japanese restaurant, eating cooked food. Not that I think there's anything wrong with that.
Maybe the bigger problem is the emphasis on 100% when, for so many, it's just not sustainable (even for gurus!) yet they feel they have to maintain appearances in order to keep their followers.

good point, 100% agree.

what would be wrong with emphasis on 98%, 95%? or 350 days/year?

Gia, I wish you well and certainly understand the power of this process. Please be careful though; this is a significant process. Nature has the keys, and the best we can ever do is to try to understand and apply her wisdom. Fasting is about givin...

Thank you! Yes, the little one is high raw. He's 90% most days on account of his father pushing some "normal" things like toasted granola and steamed peas on him. Nothing I'll complain about though! He's also still nursing, so he gets a raw transf...

I've watched that. It is so weird that they have that show on. I also watched the old v's. They are a trip- with 80s hair and the spacesuit type outfits they wear. If you look at how small our planet is compared to others like Niburu- you can see ...

Thanks for checking this out Vamp. It is truly amazing if you can be open minded enough to watch the video. People act like we haven't invented space travel. If you can accept that- then how hard would it be to accept jumping onto a planet that is...

Hi El-bo, You're absolutely right; sodium is not the problem, but sodium chloride, and inorganic mineral salt which always causes water retention and raises blood pressure. We don't need any of that.
