Raw Breakfast
Help!
I love having fruit and juice in the morning for breakfast, but before switching to raw I LOVED cooking breakfast in the mornings on the weekends.
Does anyone have any good raw breakfast recipes I could try?
Also, I'm visiting a friend for her birthday next week and want to make everyone a good raw breakfast the following morning after her birthday party. Any recipes that would be good for people new to the raw community would be appreciated!

Porridge! Soak oat groats overnight then drain and blend with some dates or raisins and then some water. You can then warm this over a pan of hot water and then stir in some fruit (I like it with bananana best). You could then drizzle over some agave or maple or honey as you chose.

Right--it's good in smoothies too. It's a necessity when there's no fruit in there!
In water with a twist of lemon or lime, in teas, in water (with flavored stevia), and with millet or quinoa.

Hi Lizz,
I haven't tried yacon; I think it's still too sweet, technically. I believe stevia is truly the only natural sweetener that is not a form of sugar. When I add vanilla flavor and a little coconut oil to the stevia, it's kind of like maple...
