Give it to me Raw

I know that raw agave is supposed to be good for digestion, but I'm wondering if anyone has noticed negative digestive effects from it. I've had all kinds of digestive problems over the past week or so, and the main thing that's been different about my diet is that I've been having a lot more agave (in herbal tea) than usual, so I'm wondering if that's it. Any thoughts??

Hmm - I think I'm going to switch back to raw honey, and only use agave for the occasional raw dessert, not everyday in my tea. Thanks for your thoughts!

Might be the excess sugar. I've heard (and somewhat experienced) that too much sugar can upset digestion in the small intestine.

But regular raw cane sugar doesn't have the same effect. So it's either the agave or else something else weird is going on with me.

What brand are you using? Some are processed different than other and some add things to there agave like corn syrup lol.
I found these audios and article really interesting in regard to agave

To be honest I have never seen the process to create Raw Agave... I have seen many creating "Agave" that claim to be raw, but the process is far from raw. If you were eating 100% raw and the Agave was creating a problem, then it just might not be raw, thus the irritation.
Something to consider.
P.S don't believe every label you seen.
Dive into the books.

I'm not 100% raw, more like 97%, so it's not whether or not it's raw, but I think you're right about the processing - I mean, it's not like honey, which just comes out of the comb.

im confused. matt monarch swears by regular colonic hydrotherapy. its his no.1 raw tip, didn't think it could be dangerous but now it kind of makes sense. enemas seem much more natural in comparison.

I've heard great, great things about Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in Fort Bragg, CA. I know that isn't really in the Los Angeles area, but it's still in CA and I believe they provide students the option to stay in their 'Living Light Inn'....

The way I see it is that generally people who label themselves are confident of the path they have chosen while, also generally, people don't don't label aren't quite as sure if what they're following is the right way to go.

things that have actually worked for me: Valerian root for tea - very calming... Lemon juice, sliced lemon peel, lemon grass or lemon verbina, raw honey, star anise (optional), maybe some ginger, hot water (let it all infuse together for a while) ...
