First of all I have to give credits to Debbie Took who (apart from providing loads of great free articles on raw on her blog "rawforlife" and newsletter) wrote about a little "accident" on the rawfood UK forum some days ago. (To sum it up:) It was basically about being on her way to a X-mas meet-up, spilling fruit salad in the car and transferring it from her clothes to in front of other people's gardens (and one of her friends calling that "raw activist" or something similar for fun)... :)
So, inspired by Debbie's post and Nikolaus day (not sure about this traditions being known in other countries, but anyway) coming up, I thought it is time for some enthusiastic raw activism!
I'm going to leave fruit in front of other (random) people's doors with a little note added (with kind words, some inspiration and/or maybe some raw food links...). And I encourage everybody else who has a spare banana or tangerine (or even a persimmon, what some people may never have seen before!) to do the same. Go and spread the message of raw food and love and share your abundance (of fruit and wisdom and happiness). Do whatever else "activist" comes to your mind (and share your ideas). And have fun being a (for all you acronym lovers) H.E.R.A.W. (happy enthusiastic raw activist weirdo... errr... warrior, I mean).
Thanks!
Love,
Evi
