Give it to me Raw

A friedn of mine rang me recently to tell me of yet another of her old friends who is dying from cancer. Now what odd is that these people where hippies, the original ones, and they were mostly vegans, they had small holdings, they were very free thinking and relaxed, very chilled.....of course they had problems in their lives but above all they were new agers, into health foods etc etc

However the thing that connected them was pot..they grew it and smoked it...now of her friends who didnt smoke, they are mostly fine, and no deaths so far.....

What I am saying is...please think about NOT ever smoking pot as its carcenogenic, and much worse than ordinary cigarrettes....it increases your chances of cancer.

These were healthy eating, lean looking, fit people..or they should have been, but they are dying or they have died, at age 55 to 60....she was in tears as its getting so that she is just waiting for the next old friend to ring her and tell they have cancer too.

Please is if your 20 to 35 have good hard think about it as thats the time when it effects you most and you will store up trouble for later....

sometimes you just need to leave your thoughts....or rather dive deep in to them without judgement ....thats where cheefer comes in. But the problem is when you do it for entertainment and escape. It elevate you not hold your captive.

also i've heard THC has anti-cancer properties. I don't know how reputable the sources were however.

Technology has provided 'vaporizers.' You vape the plant material instead of burning it. Much better for you then smoking.

I have used MJ in the past while being raw vegan in times of psychological crises. But it is must more efficient to work through your feelings with the help of some compassionate souls.

Depends on why you use it of course.

I am clean now, and loving it. I love life and embrace it so much more when I am clean, toke-free.
But it has served me in the course of my life and saved my life on occasion so I cannot judge people who use it. I have been there. It has helped me. It can be a plant teacher.

Just depends on where you are at. I know intensely spiritual people who use it that way. I know sick people who use it to help with symptoms.

I like clean the best, personally. Different strokes for different folks.

Yeah !! I think if you smoke a lot you disconnect from really feeling ..as you on a drug, and not clean. You will feel alive, and everything can be a wonderful experience without any pot etc..infact your senses are stringer without it, as your more awake, pot dulls the senses so you chill out and get sedated.

To sit, awake, and smell the flowers, appreciate a sight etc is much more powerful...throgh meditation, yoga etc..but of course this tales time patience and practice to achieve....

that sound interesting...and like you I dont take anything, I have treid things but I like to have a clear focused mind or a clear relaxed one under my own control...I never saw the point of getting stoned, its a bit like a mental warm duvet, comfy but whats the point.

LSD sounds interesting but again, it a quick door opening and then closing, and its not perment or controllable....the slower methods last the longest and you feel you have achieved something, and then you can switch on and off at will...and go as deep as you want...:)

What do you mean by "Controllable" maybe that is the issue you have to look at?

Everyone has there own experiences and attempts to make definitive statements while still being conditioned by ignorance. Medicines are blessings to us if used to assist in healing and opening consciousness with gratitude. Peoples judgements about others habits can be as much/ more of a psychological hang up than the medicine. As long as you are not free of ignorance, you don't have much to stand on to talk about purity of Mind.
The real issue is that People are being drugged by pharmaceutical industries into zombie states and we should see it in a relative progression of liberation.
We live in such a thick cloud of illusion, it is natural to seek means of access to a state of pure consciousness. When no spiritual guidance is present, then escapist patterning & addictions can be the results. Yet the epiphany reached in conscious ceremony with plant spirits can provide means of inspiration that one can seek to integrate into our daily life.

Cannabis also supports an alternative economy that is a healthy sustaining force in a world run by Oil/Drug/Weapons sales...We have alot to be grateful for!

Sacred plant, much maligned and abused...if used in a proper, honorable fashion it can bring you light...if abused it will steal your light...it is a shaman's herb that has been made commonplace. We need to deal with all plant's in a more respectful manner...

"shaman's herb"

Well said! It needs to be treated with mucho respect, and it isn't. When it's not treated with respect, there are seriously problems...
