I've honestly never given thought to my favorite bird. They're all pretty cool. Except for pigeons, but only when I own a car.

baltimore oriole...i mean, their colors are amazing. the sea gulls where i live are like medium-sized dogs. but i like how all birds look at the world and are in the present. there are some things not so cool about some birds though--like when hawks attack smaller ones and talon them to death--but that's their world and they have to live it that way.

wow.. it is so hard to choose a favorite bird! I love wrens~ they are just so rotund, and never stop singing! The bower bird is also amazing, making a hut out of sticks and shiny found objects.. also love great horned owls.. ever communicate with one on a summer night? Swallows dip and dive so cleverly, but I think my favorite is the wood thrush~ unassuming in brown plumage but has a haunting reedy flute song.

I have never dried them myself, but in France and Italy you can buy them already dried (at what temperature I don't know). It was awhile since I ate them (before I went raw).
My saliva has never commented on how I smell. But my mouth tastes fine. And, in case you were wondering, my various excretions all smell good too!
