can you eat the skin? i'm about to juice one and am unsure if i can just throw the whole thing in to my juicer or if i have to separate the seeds and just juice them? helppppppp!! thanks!
I juiced a whole one once. Not very pleasant... Left this weird bitter/dry aftertaste. I think if you peel all the outer skin off you'll be fine with throwing it in with the pithey bits.
Citrus juicers work a charm with pomegranates btw :)

That's true but the oil inside the pips is amazing for you if you somehow manage to extract it. Don't swallow the pips, completely non digestible but i suppose one of those malgamating (is that what they are called?) juicers which could also do wheat grass juice, would do the trick.
Wow, that's a cool juicer. I never thought of juicing a pomegranate like that. TBH, I have always avoided them because they were a pain to de-seed. Using a citrus juicer makes a whole lotta sense. Thanks....you just expanded my food choices.

It would be a real shame to miss out on this amazing fruit, the antioxidants in it are unreal, they are so high. In the top ten anti ageing foods I believe :)
It took me a while to get into them for the same reason but now I just juice one with my morning OJ, it's soooo good!

The citrus juicer is the best. The other way I do it is crack open and drop all the little red bits of deliciousness into my blender and whatever white pieces fall in, so be it. Its pretty good too.
I drank a quart of fresh squeezed pomegranate orange juice today...
I'm so glad to see this post--they look so beautiful all in season, but the last time I added those beautiful little seeds to my smoothie, my kitchen looked like a murder had happened!

I'm not going to comment on climate change. But i will comment on carbon trading. Because they can produce such a consciousness of fear out of global warming - they are able to manipulate markets much more severely - and they seem to get away with...
