Give it to me Raw

I've noticed Richard Blackman has left the group. I think he was the only liquitarian/breatharian we had.

HRM has lectured at the raw spirit and across the country. I've been meaning to ask him about the NASA space study involving him. Even if it is true he probably had to sign a nondiscloser because this could hurt the revenue and power of the government. It was being talked about in Australia Sydney Morning Herald according to my friend there. An Indian study was done. His web site doesn't mention the NASA study.

Jasmuheen
More controversy surrounds Jasmuheen. She may be a very light eater, I forgot what she said during the lecture. She says around 70 live in Brazil in a town and many more live in Germany. She doesn't like to give the whereabouts to everyone because they don't want a lot of dumb tourists asking them questions. She says the Brazilians are responsive. I saw her speak for many hours in Santa Barbara this year. Her eyes look great but she has recently gained weight which she says was done through thought and not food so she wouldn't get so much attention for being skinny. She is pro colonics to help clean you out first.

David Jubb
He's another light eater. He's been seen eating pizza sometimes. Had a problem with coffee for a while he says. Had or has a weekly tv show in manhattan. He eats the equivalent of one slice of bread in calories per week. I think it varies based on his look though. He is anti-waterfasting, anti-juice fasting and anti-colonics. I'm pretty sure he waterfasts though.

Matthew Sweeney
Famous Ashtanga yoga instructor. He told me after class that he hung out with a couple breatharians near Cairns in the forest. He brought them into the city and he said they got very uncomfortable especially around food.

I think most of the rawfood experts agree that this can be done with much caution and emphasis on clean air. Fred Bisci, Matthew Monarch, David Jubb, Mike Perrine, Gil Jacobs talks about it often. If you go too fast you could lose muscle mass, drown in your unremoved toxins and possibly die like an anorexic. Green juice and colonics will involve no muscle loss according to the gurus in NYC. Mathew Monarch and Jasmuheen probably have the best books on this. Jasmuheen takes a much more spiritual approach.

I think it would be fun to get one of the Germans or Brazilians to venture there and report back if we get the address. We need a volunteer.

people "die" for all kinds of reasons, for breatharians supposedly dying the only difference would be that their last breath would probably be deeper than usual ;)

Jubb's belly is fine. I've seen him a couple times in the past month.

I think the problem here is it's very difficult to live in society doing this 100%. I think the Mathew Sweeney story shows this. The ones that are 100% probably have no desire to enter society and if they did they would probably fall off the wagon and have a bad swing the other way. Many people after fasting run straight to the bakery after even if they don't normally. Even if they aren't 100% it's still pretty impressive. Even Norman walker with all his health problems before 40 to live to 117 is impressive. Show me an 80 10 10 high fruit person that age. Shawn Miller and David Carmos to live on a small salad per day and do intense yoga is impressive. How many times do we need to do the longevity study for people to buy into it. Low calories = long life. I think it's possible to do 80 10 10 and go low calories but it takes discipline and detox too. Look at Tim Van Orden. 4-9 pieces of fruit a day even on race day.

Duration on raw doesn't mean you have really clean tissues. If you get violently ill after eating a cooked product, then you're probably pretty clean. Doug's eyes, skin and hair don't look that great. He is still impressive compared to most of us. Gil Jacobs, Lou Corona, David Carmos are roughly the same age and I think look better. Two of them have crutches though to help out. I think with all the lazy colons we've inherited from our sick lineage, long desk jobs and freezing climates(maybe less exercise) makes it difficult for some to do the 80 10 10 or even raw diet really well. Gil gets all kinds of 80 10 10 tragedies in his office who think it will all come out naturally. I don't have anything against the 80 10 10 diet. It's another way to go with slightly different results. Some do it very well, look and feel great. It does look easier to maintain at 100% than systematic undereating and deep tissue cleansing. But who's cleaner and living longer.

Matt Monarch I think basically regurgitates whatever Fred Bisci and others sources tell him in his books. Fred has learned a lot from Gil Jacobs. Gil follows mostly Arnold Ehret ideas with new twists. Matt is selling out but he's also getting out and I think most of us in society are selling out. $9000 for a fast is selling out. All the companies I work for fill up landfills and do much worse.

Sounds like creative writing from crew. Can you substantiate, or is this just classic DR propaganda?

I've made contact with the breatherian communities in Germany and Brazil. It doesn't sound like they all play volleyball together and hang out at the oxygen bar. The German contact said they become very independent and "live their individual concepts according to their blueprint". He knows many but they don't all live together or anything. The Brazilian contact said they are not an exact community as well. They didn't say how many or how hard core they were. They both teach the 21 day process outlined in living on light and can speak english pretty well. Here is the 21 day process. We still need volunteers :)

Oh man, I really hope people don't read this and think this is something they should just "have a go at" this sounds so dangerous. Wasn't Jushmaheen found out to be quiet a fraud anyways? I'm not really an expert on this as you can probably tell, just looked into it for a bit out of interest.
Are people supposed to do 21 day programs like this supervised? I hope there is a good support network in place, I can just see folks dropping like flies ;) or seriously damaging their health. Just not something I would take lightly personally.

What questions would you like to ask the experts before you start advising everyone what to do? I can ask. I think Richard Blackman looks like the biggest public success without a trail of controversy. He refuses to give advice on "How to" because he doesn't want to be held responsible legally. I would read the wiki page on Jasmuheen. A set program might be dangerous considering our varying states of health but I'm not sure. I'm hoping a post like this will cause us to dig deeper. Waterfasting can also have a long recovery period. That was the only negative I read in the link.
