Give it to me Raw

Sometimes I can't get hold of certain organic F&V. On the occasions I have to buy non orgasmic, which fresh produce should i steer clear of and which are 'not so bad'?!

Love x

Think about the skin... foods with thick skins like avocados or bananas are safer to eat whether they're organic or non (though the way conventional bananas are treated can't be good for the morale of the bananas, which is bound to effect us in some way or another).

Berries, tomatoes, greens, and other less protected produce are more vulnerable to their surroundings, which makes them more susceptible to absorbing pesticides and other 'cides.

That's a good list that Persephone posted. I would add lemons and oranges as fruits to buy organic (non organic lemons taste like toxic household cleaners!)... and many oranges are injected with coloring.

Good luck with choosing the best quality non-orgasmic produce ; )

Hi Erica - eeek!! What do they do to the poor bananas??!!

The thick skin rule is a really great one to help remember - and it makes sense too!
