i think the 'mystery meat' icons are confusing. need a key or legend to know what they represent. i have to acknowledge them, wonder what they are and come a conclusion (hopefully a right one). not sure if that's what you want users doing.

another thing about the right side - i think it comes down to how users utilize it. not sure about others, but i'd scan it to see if my friends did something. the new icons put it in the context of actions instead of people. i guess it comes down to which ways other uses use it.

also, a dr. friend told me that some of the waxy stuff can drip into your ear and do permanent damage. it does feel great, but i don't do it any longer. i've actually fallen asleep while having it done. =/
