On the road
I was curious if anyone here has dabbled in homelessness, or travel with little or no money? I thought I'd discuss it here, because most people I talk to think it's silly to not be on the grid constantly I guess.
Some key things I was wondering was how do people go about eating? I know movies and books might not be the best place to look for guidance but, Chris Mccandless, when he was on the road, must have eaten somehow. And I don't know if anyone here is familiar with the series Kung Fu from back in the 70's, but Caine also traveled penniless. So I just wonder if it's possible in this day and age to do so.
So if you guys / girls, have any stories, even remotely related, I'd love to here them. Thanks a lot

I love Chris Mccanddles's story, I feel like it possible in the southern part of the country. We live in Alaska where he attempted to live free, but the wild life and cold would make it impossible. But it would be fairly easy anywhere south with a tent and a blend tec lol.

I wanna go on the road too next year. Also curious about the different way of doing it. I think it's possible in these days with WWOOFing, couchsurfing, hitchhiking etc. Though maybe easier (safer) for men than for a single woman.
