Give it to me Raw

I am trying to avoid phyto- and xeno-estrogens as much as possible because I am estrogen dominant. I recently learned that tea tree oil and lavendar are endocrine disruptors that increase estrogen levels and cause breast development in boys. All of Dr. Bronner's soaps seem to contain hemp, flax, tea tree oil, and lavendar, all of which I am trying to avoid. Estrogen decreases fertility in both males and females. And all of the population-control stuff on the package of the Bronner's soap is really starting to scare me a little bit. So please, can someone recommend to me a natural, organic soap with ingredients that I can pronounce, and no phytoestrogens? Thanks so much!

YES! I do use soap - very rarely do as I find it dehydrates my skin and leaves a texture that doesn't go away easily. I use raw coconut oil and Epsom salts. That's it. You can add some essential oil if you like - sometimes I like eucalyptus. I rub it into my skin like a scrub a few days a week and rinse off in the shower. I follow up with a body oil of bee's wax and olive oil. You may not need so much oil - but the skin becomes sooo soft and smells clean and wonderful.

That sounds amazing. I'll have to try that, though I have not had good experiences with coconut oil in the past. I have oily skin.
I love going to the beach and rubbing sand all over my body to scrape off dead skin cells.
I would like to move away entirely from soap eventually, but for now I find a little soap really serves me well, just not creepy Dr. Bronner's.

I also use coconut oil in the shower and salt scrubs, but mostly a body glove. After I get out of the shower my skin is very soft.

I've made soap before using oil and lye. I burned my lungs from breathing in the lye fumes and it was pretty scary . . . not something I want to repeat!

I'll be adding one to my Buddhaful Momma / Buddhaful Baby line.. keep your eyes peeled!

I avoid using soap, but if I do use a little, it's Kiss My Face olive oil soaps. They basically contain only olive oil and sodium chloride. I like the one that has honey added for a little extra moisture. ...I guess it's not actually organic though.

Still, a good, natural recommendation, even if not organic. Thanks.

Wow, I love coconut oil on my skin but have not substituted it for soap to clean with salts, I see the good in it, I am so going there. Thanks for the info on Bonners, I know that tea tree and lavender oil promote estrogen, I suppose with continued use it could affect my system.
Much Love ya'll

I bet juggler is GREAT exercise. For the brain, with the hands crossing the body's mid-line is beneficial.

I just ordered a Cellercise, an advanced rebounder, the presenter likened it somewhat to skipping rope.

I favor organic apples on sale anywhere, especially Whole Foods, when they're 99cents/lb (culture shock).

Keep it simple! GINGER! You can make a tea with grated fresh ginger and just pour some hot water over.
