im not using shampoo and condioner for about 2 weeks already and im loving it...no chemicals over my head at all...i just use baking soda on the scalp every 2 weeks and apple cider vinegar or lemon juice everytime i wash my hair(twice a week) ...
i've not been poo'ing for about three months (except one wash after wore hairspray for a wedding). my hair is long and wavy and has been falling out in large quantities since no poo. i'm quite active and always wearing a hat (DC is frigid right now) so it tangles a lot. though, i've always been one to get "the tangles" and have not had mass hair loss like this. Has anyone else experienced hair loss? could this be because of no poo? i don't use acv or baking soda, just water. i rinse it with hot water just about every other day. could this hair loss be related to diet? something i'm missing or gtting too much of?
My second time going no poo I was losing a lot of hair. I washed with baking soda and an avc rinse every two or three days for about 3 months. My hair loss didn't improve and my hair didn't look good either. It was just like having cats again - there was hair everywhere. So I stopped and started using shampoo and conditioner again. My hair loss improved dramatically from the first wash.
Now I have another problem that I am researching now. I discovered a 1 inch square patch of hair missing off the back of my head. Could it be the bentonite clay I started taking a week ago? Could it be going back and forth between all raw and 60-80% raw? Could it be no poo? Or vitamin deficiency? I have my sleuth hat on now....
raw eggs and cold water? just mixed together? does it work like shampoo? does your hair stink of eggs after wards? do you recommend adding acv there too? let me know!
i use some citrus in my hair like once every other week or so, and i am good to go.
my hair is looking better then ever.
i used to never be able to just wear it without doing anything to it. i never thought a day would come that i would have a good hair day without doing ANYTHING to it styling after the shower wise just wearing it loose! it's a bloody miracle. so glad i stopped using poo and kept with it. i would have never of assumed such great results.
the only reason i even tried it in the first place was because i was too cheap to buy another bottle of organic vegan special expensive shampoo for frizzy hair. i was giving it a chance in order to save money for a week. i stuck with it, and i'm so happy i did.
This is a recent blog post from my site, http://reneoswald.com/blog
Hello Rene,
With differing health opinions out there, I find it difficult to decide which health choices are best for my family. However, I do feel blessed I came across the R...
Hi Lee, I agree with you in many ways and would have said an unreserved yes to your statement before I tried raw vegan eating. Maybe it is different for different people, but I have been totally surprised at how much what I eat has been affecting ...
Soaking might help, I really don't know for sure. My father eats soaked dried chestnuts. The dried ones are really hard and they get a little bit softer when soaking them, but they are'nt as sweet soaked.
recently i have come to believe i may (not fully sure) have candida. mainly for the following reasons: after any cooked meal that is high in startches like say risotto the next day my head is so fuzzy and i think it may be even hungover or drunk. ...
This is what my mom recommends too. The thing is I live in a high-rise building in NYC, so I'm definetely not "grounded".
The grounding bed technology makes sense, but it doesn't feel natural to me. Has anyone tried it? Did you notice any changes...
