Just wondering what everyones new years resolutions are if you care to share. My main one is to slowly get rid of using computers and TV and spend that time stretching or doing yoga
Well I got my 'pump it up' dvd, so that's a start for something. But my real resolution is to come to terms with things as I've come to know them and try to stop fooling myself.
I don't believe in new years resolutions. In my opinion, the reason why so many people fail with theirs, is because winter is not really a supportive season for positive change. It's cold, snowy, and downright depressing! (to me atleast). I'll be happy to make it out alive lol.
It may be the beginning of the year but it's the middle of a crappy season. If any time would make sense to have a resolution it would be spring. Not saying we can't improve all year round, but it just makes little sense to put all this pressure on ourselves to make big life changes in the middle of winter. Toronto winters are pretty harsh!

I always end up making resolutions in the spring, and I always stick with them way better than any New Year's ones I try to make! Glad to see someone else out there sees the logic of waiting until spring :b
Last year, I revolted against my 'norm' and quit my job, went back to college, and went vegetarian. The end results? I am finding my intuitive calling, maintaining a 4.0 GPA, and am raw vegan.

I resolved to read a page of my World Atlas of History each day... then I should be finished it by next Jan. 1st :) I love ancient history. Also, I want to read more in general. And work out more. All feasible, I think.
My New Years resolution is to begin a liquidarian diet. I've been raw for some time now, and I think I would like to start experimenting with liquidarinism. If not a permanent practice, at least for 6 months to see how it goes. There seems to be very little information out there on how to do this safely and effectively. I have been researching for the last two weeks on what nutritional requirements I will need. I think I have a good ground work to begin, and I'll fine tune things as I go.
Ok, if you want to really know:
TV wastes your brain cells and your time. Turn it off, or better yet, sell it and buy yourself a bike or something like that. Not into getting programmed. TV is watching someone else having all the fun and doing th...
Larabars are 100% raw (well, most of them) and they're really good. Think Organic bars are raw and organic. You'll get twice the Larabar for less money, but they're both really good.
Please share your easy desserts. I've finally gone 100% raw, but I'm having a hard time staying way from candy... (I haven't caved yet) I'm looking for desserts that don't need nuts as I'd like to eat them after dinner.
Thanks!
