I all I am in the UK and have just brought a new Vitamix, I am very new to Raw and would like some recipe ideas for the Vitamix that I could get started with.
If anyone else is in the UK it would be good to get in touch.
Blessings

Chuck in a ripe avocado, some cacao, carob, vanilla pod, coconut oil and some agave/raw honey or a couple of dates. blend till smooooth, pour into a mould and freeze for a couple of hours. Yummy pudding/or pour into a date & nut crust for a pie.
Also, great for doing sunflower seed pate. Blend soaked sunflower seeds and water, add tumeric and salt and a squeeze of lemon juice.....maybe add some sesame seeds or tahini too.......yum
i have to admit, i bought a "magic bullet" blender to make dressings, sauces, and minor mixes. so easy to use, but use the vitamix for bigger jobs, of course.
Hi there Pammie,
I just bought my first vita mix for my birthday in August too, and I love it. I have never bought anything as expensive as that before, but it is terrific. I use it about 4 times a day. I can make smoothies for the children for breakfast. Houmus and other dips are so easy. Even raw cake crusts are tackled in seconds. How did I manage before?
Good to hear from other uk raw foodists - I feel pretty on my own up here in Hull.
Namaste,
Jude.
I would like to buy one book, ( I already have the Complete Book of Raw but there are not a lot of photos and I am visual).

Amen, Loren. So do you feel the same way about blending then? The whole fiber is still there with blending so not improving on nature as much as sort of 'pre-chewing', if you will
I'm planning to start enemas too (I think when my roommate will leave next month...). Of course it's unnatural, but we have eaten unnatural for years and years and I believe it can help a lot getting out the waste.
