today my cat jumped on the counter when i was juicing, grabbed a large piece of kale ran away with it and ate the whole thing.
He also will pester me whenever I use coconuts and if i turn my back for a second with attempt to eat my raw ice creams.
Oh, and he ate a date i dropped on the floor a few weeks ago.
The cats who live with me enjoy raw nori, coconut oil/butter and cashew nuts. One of them loves apples and avocados, but the other shows little interest in these items.
They're always interested in what I'm eating, despite the fact that I have them on a raw carnivorous diet and I would think that they might prefer to eat only meat...

I find it's quicker to make four cuts, scaling the outer skin equally then pulling it away and thumping with a wooden spoon. Plus it's less of a mess and you don't lose any juice because none of the kernels are cut :)
