Have you seen any physical changes produced by MSM?

It sounds like a great, useful supplement. I read the below article and am deciding if I should add it to my lifestyle.

Another thing....aren't capsules the method that they use for animals when they give them the DMSO?

I'm wondering if I could buy the powder and fill my own capsules. That would be a big hassle but it would help to up my dose without that horrible taste. Just a thought.

A tablespoon in a quart of water with the juice of half a lemon, a pinch of red salt and some stevia in the morning does wonders and doesn't taste so bad. I also take a cayenne cap for better absorption.

I pay $8.40/lb for mine. There's no brand name, just says MSM Powder. I wonder how the quality varies from company to company. D. Wolfe says pine resin's the best but all types'll do the job, and also he likes capsules; they protect against oxydation.

It tastes horrible. I take the powder but I have to have it with lots of lemon in the water to hide the taste. There are some who take it straight up....more power to them...I can't.

it does taste pretty manky,i go to my happy place when i take it,he he detachement rules sometimes lol

The powder is MUCH much cheaper. I take 3T a day, that's 36,000mg or 36 capsules. I put a tablespoon in my smoothies and in lemon water, can't taste anything.

I haven't noticed much with MSM. I take it every day, for months, on recommendations of others. It's a faith thing. I have added lemon to it, based again on what others have said.

My skin improved loads, everything from clarity to improving on old scar tissue; my hair is growing super fast, around 3/4 an inch a month; my nails seem much stronger, I've actually stopped biting them now which I used to do mainly because if they grew out even a little they would tear and rip off; old sports injuries I've had from ballet and fencing are improving, foot/toe issues from wearing pointe shoes have completely gone away, and I've noticed more flexibility in ballet and yoga.

That was all after I increased to 36,000mg a day, but I'd been taking anywhere from 3-9,000mg in capsule form for 6-7 months and I don't remember noticing any huge changes.

How many tablespoons (or teaspoons) is 36,000mg a day.
I am doing the straight powder in tablespoon amounts which is why I ask.

After the third or fourth day I seem to function better then when I am eating heavy meals. My last fast I was walking eveyday. I just feel great when I am fasting.

I have done a 40 day water fast before. So I guess for some people it miight be dangerous but it works for me. I do better on water then juice fasting.
