I'm transitioning to mostly raw and recently gave up caffeine. I got through the headache/withdrawal phase, but I'm missing that extra shot of energy to kickstart my morning that coffee gives me. Any ideas/suggestions?
amen. first, i drink hot water with lemon. then i drink a green lemonade of sorts - kale, romaine, apple, ginger, lemon.
or add maca to whatever you're drinking.

I've been drinking something similar -- kale or spinach blended with fruit, but that doesn't seem to do it. I've never tried maca though -- what's it do? And why hot water with lemon?

lemon for its cleansing properties, hot water if you like something hot in the morning. i like the juice better than the smoothie because it gets some nutrients in me without having to wake up my digestion right away.
maca is supposed to fire up your energy, recharge your adrenals, and boost your libido. i have seriously lagging energy most of the time, and i find that when i stick maca in my energy soup, i don't fall asleep in the afternoon like i would otherwise. maca is great for smoothies, too.

I take wheat grass and spin it in my vitamix with a cup of water. Then I strain it and take the green water and add bananas and pinnaple. Very energising. It is my coffe.

Nope, she strains it and THEN adds the fruit. So you're getting the whole fruit.
(sorry to but in and answer for you , Kim, just thought I'd answer quick)
Yes- they're called petechiae and I've always heard that they are liver-related. They can also be due to anemia and low platelet count. If you also bruise easily, that might be the likely cause.
I get them too and they come and go.
Pink Lady Apple,
I used to get those. I know exactly what they look like - they are tiny, they can vary in size, they are circular, flat, and very red. They do look like blood blisters, but flat!
I stop getting them after I did an extended water...
I really believe that is possible to heal all of the body...regeneration of tissue is not a far fetched concept. There is a case of a man who re-grew a finger, recently! I have to dig to find the article, but I read it on naturalnews.com. Mind you...
i can understand american accent, i have been working with them for quite a while
