Give it to me Raw

After an alcoholic relapse, a stressful Spring/early Summer and lots of cheats on my diet (meaning eating gluten, dairy and fatty foods), I've allowed myself to improve SLOWLY again over the past 2 months.

Now, I'm ready to really focus on eating mostly raw, juicing greens, taking great supplements, stopping eating by 7pm and doing yoga. I found a wonderful system for success is to be able to visually see your goals daily and "check them off." So I made a list for 30 days, with about 10 daily goals. Everytime I accomplish one, I get to put a star sticker in that box!
I see 4 benefits to doing this:
1. Your goals are clearly set
2. You're reminded
3. You're positively reinforced, excited to "see" your progress!
4. You don't HAVE to reach your goals, but instead WANT to see as many stars, or checkmarks as you can! If you miss one, its okay!

What are some other methods people have used to be successful with changing habits?
What do you, or would you put on your daily goals list?

Is this a home-made system Sabrina? I'm intrigued.....is it a spreadsheet or calendar style?

It's calender style, just on a big poster board :)

I really like this approach. It's big enough that you must see it and be guided by it daily. Very cool!

I want to see this thing filled with stars...will you post updates? (The social pressure may help you...but don't feel obligated...)

Thanks ya'll! I would love to post this each week (that would help motivate me even more). Its surprising just how well it works. Such a simple thing can help so much!

I made one for my little 15 year old sister too. Her's is focused towards school, chores and healthy eating. I'm even making one for my mother today, who is trying to be sober and exercise!

I would love to see other peoples calenders!

My boyfriend is trying to take credit for this idea right now!

I've gotten 3 days of not eating after 7-8pm and slowly increasing my raw! :D It didn't show in my picture, but on the other half, I have a box for "bed by 11pm," and "95-100% raw" and then "percentage raw" (for that one I right in the caloric percentage. I haven't had a 95-100% raw day yet, but going for that extra star tomorrow!

Hi agree with Erin, everything she suggested is very similiar to wha ti have found. I am also seeing an accupuncturist and realize that we actually need cooked foods in our diet to support the spleen. Healing with whole foods is a great start..

I've been doing some "research" on ear candling, and have found three different reports: 1) it's great, feels great, and really helps to clear out the sinuses/lymphs 2) it feels great, but that's just the warmth and it doesn't actually do anything...
