After an alcoholic relapse, a stressful Spring/early Summer and lots of cheats on my diet (meaning eating gluten, dairy and fatty foods), I've allowed myself to improve SLOWLY again over the past 2 months.
Now, I'm ready to really focus on eating mostly raw, juicing greens, taking great supplements, stopping eating by 7pm and doing yoga. I found a wonderful system for success is to be able to visually see your goals daily and "check them off." So I made a list for 30 days, with about 10 daily goals. Everytime I accomplish one, I get to put a star sticker in that box!
I see 4 benefits to doing this:
1. Your goals are clearly set
2. You're reminded
3. You're positively reinforced, excited to "see" your progress!
4. You don't HAVE to reach your goals, but instead WANT to see as many stars, or checkmarks as you can! If you miss one, its okay!
What are some other methods people have used to be successful with changing habits?
What do you, or would you put on your daily goals list?
