Can someone who is knowledgeable about meridians in the body explain to me how body piercings can effect you? I am just becoming familiar with this whole concept and a coworker told me that her friend was advised to take out her belly butter ring because she was having bad digestion. How do ear/body/genital piercings effect how the rest of your body works?
In Kundalini Yoga, they say when you pierce your body, you put a hole in your aura (they say marijuana smoking does that too). Ive also heard it can block the flow of kundalini energy thru the chakra. I asked what I can do since Ive had my navel pierced since I was 16, they advised either take it out or if I dont want to take out my navel jewelry, just wear a high quality gem stone there.

Yeah that's true about marijuana, I see auras as part of my job, and when someone habitually uses drugs their aura is like mesh instead of shiny and tight. It sorts itself out when they stop though, it isn't permanent in my experience of working with people who use.

Well to me, I feel that it forces you to open more than you naturally would, which is fine once in a while because it gives you a widened sense of perception which can create a nice shift/ an interesting magical moment/a holiday from the normal perception/stresses... but it is when people use it habitually, day in day out for years that the aura starts to get ragged, full of holes and looks like mesh.
Occasional users, or people who use it alot but with deep prayer and in a spiritual way like genuine Indian Saddhus and some deeply spiritual Rastas always look fine to me.I guess it depends on your intention and the way you live your life as a whole. Whether it is an addiction, an escape or a means of genuine divine worship makes the difference.
this is an interesting, as i have been craving, really craving my nose piercing lately ! I should listen to my body :) also i wonder what lip piercings do ?

I have never dried them myself, but in France and Italy you can buy them already dried (at what temperature I don't know). It was awhile since I ate them (before I went raw).
Lost is same insanely good storytelling, character development. I love how they spend time flashing back to show you the character's demons and how the island is bringing them to face what used to be a big thing for them. Plus, you never know what...
Make this, it is my new favorite thing.
