I have 4 large mercury fillings and am a little worried about them. Im only 25 and they were done years ago. I suffer from tmj pain and headaches, have been raw for a couple of months and feel like its a shame im making such an effort to cleanse my body when its full of toxic mercury! Any advice? Its VERY expensive to have them removed and im on a low income!
not everyone with mercury fillings has mercury toxicity. My doctor has done thousands of tests on people with amalgam fillings, and the majority don't have traceable levels in their blood. Of course, there are many people without fillings that have skyhigh mercury levels and have no clue why.... others are from Norway that have been eating high quality fish from "pristine" waters. If you are feeling symptomatic, you could get a heavy metals test. They tend to be quite expensive though. It may actually be more harmful getting them removed.
i think i heard David Jubb say on a podcast that I got the link for off here somewhere, that probiotics could literally eat up metals..might be worth checking into that. Might not have got it toally right but if you can find the podcast it is very interesting...
I know at least 2 people who's mercury fillings came out as they detoxed on raw food.
Whoa! Do not hesitate to do whatever you can to get them out of your mouth. Blood and urine tests cannot detect mercury that is embedded in organs - the places it has the most affinity for and does the most damage: the brain, the liver, the endocrine system. Only hair testing or bio-energetic testing can confirm whether or not this is an issue for you. If you have amalgams, IMO, it is an issue. Yes, some people can detox it more easily, but just because that may be the case, it doesn't mean it's something you want to have in your body. Mercury is *extremely* toxic. Do some research, don't stay in denial - too many people dismiss how incredibly harmful the practice of putting metal, especially mercury in one's mouth or anywhere in the body actually is.
Many things react with mercury and even eat mercury - probiotics etc. But few substances are capable of getting it out of the brain and also getting it out of the body safely. For some people, the "weaker" chelators (chlorella etc.) can end up redistributing mercury in the body, causing more damage than if it had just been left where it was to begin with. If you feel horrible after eating a lot of chlorella that may be why.
that's true.....the only tests that my doctor does for heavy metals is hair tests~ and many of those did not detect any mercury levels in people with amalgam fillings. Not everyone of course, but most people
I'd be interested to know what type of hair test your doctor is using. There are not that many professionals who are knowledgeable enough in this subject to use hair test data to diagnose mercury toxicity - the mercury itself does not necessarily show an elevated level in the hair. Levels of various elements must be interpreted. The link I gave below references the expert in this subject, Andrew Culter PhD, who wrote an entire book about interpreting hair test data. This same issue is also talked about briefly in the interview below.
sure az'ya! I'll ask him when I go on the 8th. The discussion originally came up in our first meeting a few months ago. I know he does extensive tests though... he has only one lab that he works with because he has very specific ways things are to be tested... he does a lot of work with brain injured kids from all over the world, especially india where heavy metal poisoning is really high, and several types of tests are used to determine toxicity. Based on my symptoms he did not think it was prudent to get one... he does recommend them for others based on history, symptoms, and if they are planning pregnancies in the next couple of years.
You will be okay for now. I know many senior citizens with mercury fillings and they are completely fine. My parents are in their 60's and they have tons of mercury filliings, and they are in perfect health.
I did have my two mercury fillings removed and replaced.
PLA- have you had your ferritin (iron-storing protein) levels checked? You can have normal iron but low ferritin, and thus still have anemia symptoms. Or you can have leaky bool vessels due to spleen qi deficiency. Look at your tongue 1st thing in...
Thats interesting but would the body react differently to fruit sugars as opposed to all the other sugars? I didn't have these spots when I spent most of my time partying and living on junkfood.....
Hi, I don't live in Cornwall anymore, but I will be there visiting family over Christmas, so if you guys are having a get together of any sort, let me know!
