Animals eat other animals in the wild all the time, are they gross? I wasn't trying to be funny. I really enjoy the taste of animal flesh just the same way a lion loves gazelles. I love fruits and veggies too. YES I agree that over consumption of animal protein isn't the best for you but the same goes for other food sources as well.
"The same does go for other food sources."
But milk, eggs and honey don't come with the poisons meat protein comes with. They are easier digested even in the same quantities as meat.
Do you love the taste of raw meat - because that's how animals in the wild eat other animals.
I would never stop you from eating meat brother. But let's not pretend it is good for you physiologically, at any quantity.
All meats, fish and Crustacea fill the organism with toxins, cause fermentation by their decomposition in the organism and introduce intro the organism diseases from the dead animal. They are very hard to digest, greatly scarify the organism, have a bad influence on the nervous system, create harmful acids in the organism, funish a favourable medium for the culture of bacteria of disease, and destroy the resistance of the body to diseases.
but don't let that negative advertisement be the end of the discussion.
I didn't know that, thanks for the info. Still I feel that I PERSONALLY do well on meat. I'm not talking meat everyday, a few times a week at most. There are poisons in other food sources too.
Not here to advocate meat eating to anyone (raw or otherwise), but your information is lop-sided. It usually is whether folks are advocating vegetarianism, veganism, or even raw, all-meat, zero-carb diets (they always have gobs of info on why veggies & fruits are bad for you)...or any specific diet that sets itself apart from others & justifies that position in relation to other diets.
The reality is that there are nutrients (as well as anti-nutrients/toxins) in just about everything you eat, and evolutionarily speaking, humans (as the most adaptive and opportunistic animal on the planet) are acclimated to eating a wide variety of food stuffs - from plant-based to animal based. We can not only survive, but thrive on everything from raw vegan to processed fast foods (look at all those Olympic athletes who set world records and win gold medals who feast on McDonald's & Cokes).
So...what is physiologically optimum? That's a question that will rage for a long time with no clear decision because some people do best on one diet (say, raw vegan) while others do best on another (say, raw paleo).
If you choose the vegan path for ethical reasons, there is no need to justify the decision on religious grounds, health grounds, environmental grounds, or the like.
Good point David I love that response! Also- sad eaters will say that enzymes aren't important because hydrochloric acid in the stomach destroys everything anyway. Well, if they aren't important then why not just eat protein powder, a half cup of oil, a few tablespoons of salt and some chemicals and call it the same as a fast food burger?

How do you know that "those Olimpic athletes who set world records and win gold medals" "feast" on McDonald's and Cokes? Do you have evidence of this? I have no idea, since I don't watch the Olympics or pay attention to that stuff, but its hard for me to believe. So I'd love to know if you've seen photos, or whatever.
Are they are just so young that it hasn't caught up with them yet??
Yes, there is plenty of proof. Just read interviews with folks who win gold medals and set world records. Some, like track legend Carl Lewis, have done extraordinary things while following a vegetarian or vegan diet. Others, like Mike Phelps, eat differently (one sample): "Michael Phelps consumes a staggering 12,000 calories each day....His breakfast typically consists of three fried egg sandwiches topped with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, fried onions and mayonnaise, toast, an omelette, porridge, three pancakes and two cups of coffee....Phelps lunch usually consists of a pound (500g) of pasta, with two ham and cheese sandwiches and approx. 1000 kcal of energy drinks....For dinner Michael Phelps has more pasta, another pound of it, with a pizza and more energy drinks. In addition to this he will take protein supplements to keep his muscles in top condition....".
This is just one source.
Evander Holyfield - Olympic bronze medalist in 1984 and pro boxer who held titles in the cruiser & heavy weight divisions - used to joke about his fast food burger habit while George Foreman (Olympic gold medalist & heavyweight boxing champ) made his comeback while talking constantly about his being overweight and consuming junk food.
Foreman made his comeback in his 40s.
I should add that it's difficult to say what is optimum for humans not only for the reasons stated above, but because diet is only ONE of many factors involved in health.
One doesn't eat raw food and magically become an Adonis or an Aphodite.

Especially, hereditary factors which create weaknesses. In the cases of weakness - all we can do is not irritate the weakness. do our best to live healthy - and then see the weakness' strengthened if not totally - in our children.
If you are born with a weak heart you can still live a long life - it just means if you abuse yourself...you will die quicker than someone with a strong heart.
I examine the shape of the skull – pull the hair back from the face please. Is the shape of the skull?
1. Circular (football = digestive)
2. Oval (egg) = circulation and
3. Triangle = mental.
What type is this person – where are their strengths – 1, 2 or 3 - Build on strengths and protect weaknesses. Don’t break down your strengths – it’s hard to build them back up.
I am a triangle. So mental is my strength. And circulation is my weakness. Digestion is alright.
Whenever i think negative thoughts. I am especially hit hard. Very sensitive mentally.
