MASSIVE deterioration in tooth enamel
I have been raw for just over 13 months and was 811 between January and Sept/August. I went to see my dentist today and she said she has never seen such bad deterioration in such a short space of time and if I don't sort it now they will have to be capped!!! My teeth have had a rough time of it lately (I caused so much damage with a tongue stud) cracked teeth, root canal and two porcelain crowns. My enamel has never been an issue until now.
It's easy to blame the high fruit diet, which I have now moved away from. I eat very simply now.
Suggestions????

Ok, I've heard about this several times now. but how the ......do you keep that in your mouth that long without swallowing some of it? 20 minutes?

You definitely have to build up to it. Try 5 minutes at first and work your way up. You may want to set a timer and do something like checking emails, reading, making breakfast, etc. while oil pulling to distract you from the clock. Some people meditate during the 20 minutes, but for most of us, that is not the case.

Do you really use only Sunflower or Sesame oil? The page LIllian posted said those work the best. Anyone use these, or something else.? I don't have any right now.

Keep it in your mouth until it turns into froth. That time will be different for different people.

I don't know if it will rebuild the enamel. But I know by experience that it does a world of good for the teeth and gums nonetheless!

Oil pulling? A first for this boy. I'm closing in on 20 minutes of swishing. Anyway, the story says use sunflower or sesame, don't have, I am using coconut like you suggest.

I love apples. I've been getting some really good heirloom varieties from a local grower like winesap. New England is apple land :) .
