I've been having a hard time staying raw the past couple months. My biggest problem is most Raw Food recipes I come in contact with are fairly inspiring and take too much time/effort in making.
I need easy recipes or ideas!!! Right now I am eating salads and make vegetable wraps--along with too much cooked foods.
When you prep up your lettuce and other veggies for a salad make double or triple and store in the fridge with dressing stored separately. Washed and dried lettuce lasts a few days. Same w veggie wraps, prep all the separate ingredients then all you have to do during the week is wrap them together.
What about just eating veggies and fruit without preparation? Like a banana or two, or an avocado with a little salt and lemon?
I think many raw recipes could be simplified down to show how easy it is to make them regardless of where you live. For example my soups are simply: a base vegetable that is hearty and provides a lot of bulk like carrots or pumpkin + a flavor veggie like red pepper + a colorful flavorful green herb like basil + a nice spice like freshly ground cumin + some salt + some fat. That same base can be used as a spread too.
Smoothies are also really simple. Just combine flavors and colors that you like and you are bound to come up with something good.
I make seaweed wraps, I love to just grate vegies, cut tomatoes and avos and all sorts of sauces and put it all in and roll it. Leave for 5 minutes, or longer if you can stand it, then chomp. The seaweed really does it for me.
Green curries, put greens in a blender with spices, bit o salt, half or quarter of a lemon with rind (seriously, this makes it taste great!), garlic, sesame or olive oil, blend it up and place in a bowl then add chopped/grated vegies. Derlish.
Got a dehydrator? Rough chop vegies, place in baggie with some spices, almond meal, unrefined salt, garlic, bit o oil, herbs etc (pretty much anything you like for flavour), seal bag, shake, place vegies onto dehydrator tray and leave till you can't stand waiting any longer and eat it.
I'm simply used to big salads with rotating greens and herbs now (very lazy most of the time) , but spicing it up every now and then is great!
Im a pretty lazy raw foodie too! But I enjoy finding and creating recipes that are relatively easy to make. Smoothies are my new favorite thing to make, they're just so easy. I have a website that focuses on no-fuss raw recipes: rawfoodpunk.com Hope that helps a bit!
Yes- they're called petechiae and I've always heard that they are liver-related. They can also be due to anemia and low platelet count. If you also bruise easily, that might be the likely cause.
I get them too and they come and go.
Pink Lady Apple,
I used to get those. I know exactly what they look like - they are tiny, they can vary in size, they are circular, flat, and very red. They do look like blood blisters, but flat!
I stop getting them after I did an extended water...
I really believe that is possible to heal all of the body...regeneration of tissue is not a far fetched concept. There is a case of a man who re-grew a finger, recently! I have to dig to find the article, but I read it on naturalnews.com. Mind you...
i can understand american accent, i have been working with them for quite a while
