Would like your opinions on this. Free Access to Land is Foundational to Spiritual and Physical Freedom. When Land (a necessary component for Life) is relegated to a Free Market System in which money is needed to purchase Land to Live, a system of consciousness arises in which money becomes the foundational power and subjugates the Rule of Law of Life and Love to a cold and barren economic system. All of the major problems in society can be remedied by the one simple act of honoring the Birthright to Land that every Living Soul Inherently has. Life is the School - Love is the Lesson. When we each have an equal and fair access to the school and it's resources we will learn the lessons of True Love which the Creative Consciousness has in store for humanity. Let me know what you think about Land Rights.
Not torn about anything actually. Is Land private property or is property that which an individual creates through his or her own labor? Capitalism is fine and I agree with you that each individual has a right to their own self but only through Free Access to Land is an individual truly Free. Another question for you - is capitalism a part of Life or is Life part of Capitalism?
"only through Free Access to Land is an individual truly Free"
you have said exactly what i have been thinking for some time now. i wish that we did have access to all land, but i think people have yet to truly learn to share. perhaps it brings us security in knowing that we own something? some kind of peace of mind, even if that something is not the best that is available to us...
I'm not sure I understand what you are saying, Scott and Donna. I don't see how anything on earth "belongs" to human beings. We are one of millions of species (which we are killing off every year). We aren't even responsible enough to take care of land let alone to see ourselves as owners of it just because we exist. As long as we remain human-centered in our thinking, this earth is in trouble.
This is the whole thing... We need to wake and realize that we aren't OK.
The Earth is fine and will be here long after we are gone. We're the ones in trouble! We're destroying our support system. This is suicide. And we are ruining it for every other species also.
We need to be Human centered in our thinking or we will not survive, according to history our chances aren't that good even if we don't contribute to our own demise. Much less pouring more fuel on the fire of our own destruction.
Perhaps we are using the term "human-centered" to mean two different things.
My thought is that the human-centered approach is what has led us to deplete natural resources and destroy our natural environment. Human-centeredness is a selfish approach to living. It takes no account of the state of the environment. It leads us to try to dominate nature and compete with other living creatures to our own benefit, destroying those elements of nature which impede our "progress."
Unlike other species who live in ways that complement nature, humans take from the earth, create unnatural products that harm the environment, and fight the rhythms of nature. We need not a human-centered approach but an earth-centered one, where we change our philosophy to one that recognizes that we share this earth with many other species and that we have a responsibility to live symbiotically with nature. Having a responsibility is not the same as having a birthright or being human-centric; it's recognizing what we've done to the environment, and changing to new ways of living that not only do no more harm, but complement the ecosystem.
I guess we are saying the same thing about the importance of saving the environment; the only difference is that your emphasis is on preserving the environment for future humans, while mine is preserving the environment for all species. Hopefully, either focus will result in the same beneficial results for the earth! :-)
I'm just hoping that someday those causing the destruction will care enough to stop and I'm bettin' that it will come faster from fear of our own demise than from concern for other species. Maybe I should give us more credit than that?
Hi April,
We get a fair number of applicants, and it varies all the time.
It is absolutely NOT required that someone be raw for any length of time. What is required is that someone be truly open and coachable.
This is paradigm-busting stuff bas...
loving yourself, seeing the divine in all.. being true to your soul, being alive and vibrant, joyous and greatful.. beauty is like a state of being, an energy which knows no material limits
Pretty interesting. It was hard to tell what he was for and against though, haha. I would hope to be in as good condition as him when I'm 91..... or better :j
I guess if you think of it as eating raw as what God intended, and makes us the purest version physically of what were meant to be, then maybe it is a way to get closer to God and clear away the distracting mess of sickness, and the hormone and em...
