I like Kava Kava, it was used for religious ceremonies in Hawaii. It gives you a relaxed feeling. If you take a lot, you'll feel very very relaxed. Be careful about mixing with medications as it can be harmful. Your tounge will also feel a numbing sensation if you take it in the powder form. And if you have the powder, forget trying to mix it with any liquid, it won't work. =)
Personally, I like Kratom better. It's illegal in Thailand (it's okay in the US) and if you get the premium Thai Kratom it'll make you hyper in small amounts and very relaxed in large amounts. I haven't had either of these for a while now, but they're an experience. The taste of both is a huge turn off though..
***I used to work at a place where I sold these items. Kratom (premium thai) is stronger and was sold a lot more.

I like it- it's relaxing. I don't use it often. It also comes in handy for numbing your gums at the dentist before they stick the novocaine needle in, LOL! Not to mention helpful for nerves due to said needle;-)

my experience is that it tastes awful. i've had it a few times --- in Fiji and most recently in Hawaii (awa). i did the ceremony and erryding in Hawaii, it was pretty cool. still tasted like water made of suck, though. afterward? i got a rash, also not rad...but i DID feel euphoric. for a good couple of hours, actually. not "high" per se, but very "pono" as we say in the islands. solid. right. light.

To me it tastes like dirty cocaine (can't describe it any other way!), and it numbed my gums and tongue.
But apart from that I didn't get the chillaxed feeling you're supposed to.
Yup, had it Hawaii like the others, and loved it. It sort of reminds me of an opiate feeling - body relaxed, but mentally still pretty alert - also similar to the GABA type substances. If you want some really good info on this plant and its use and effects, try going to the Erowid forums and doing a search. Oh also, I dont really recommend preparing it yourself without doing lots of research. It is apparently quite hard to make a good brew (both in terms of taste and effect) without the traditional knowledge. But the one I had in Hawaii was made with coconut water and it tasted okay, though kind of muddy.
women wants to re-make them just like if they were their own babies, and yet they want them to act grown up like a "real" man father and all that stuff. doomed to fail each time
Watch all three nights online. Some great info was given, but seemed like it was all about getting people to buy more and more products. All I know is that they made a TON of money.
