Give it to me Raw

It seems that as of late, I've seen some negative energy on this site. It is normal to have spurts of disagreements and negativity- after all, we ARE humans on this beautiful planet and we're allowed to feel that way at times!

HOWEVER, I propose that in this discussion we post positive affirmations or thoughts to bring some positive energy into our week.

This may seem cheesy, but sometimes just sharing positive thoughts with one another can go a long way!

So, what do you like about yourself? What is your favorite part about yourself? Your life?

What are some favorite quotes that you'd like to share?

I'll start it off with a quote that I love:

Let us be grateful to people who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. ~Marcel Proust

Wishing all of you a beautiful rest of your week and hope to see some awesome posts on here!

Much love,

Kate

My cat teaches me Love...he always runs to greet me when I come through the front door, when I wake up in the morning, when I leave the room he is in and then come back again, it's always like he hasn't seen me for years.
If I get angry with him because he's been naughty, then he forgives me immediately and comes to sit on me and purr.
If I get upset he knows it is coming and forces affection on me usually about 3-4 hours before I get into whatever drama is going to cause the upset.
He demands affection and love at every opportunity without embarrassment, holding back, with total confidence and a completely deserving attitude.
I don't think it is any mystery why, in a culture where we mainly live in fear and isolation, holding back love and affection, that the cat population has proliferated, making them one of the most successful species on the planet. Everyone I know has at least one, I secretly believe they are keeping the Love in humanity going...

I meet the most interesting people in the most random places. A few years ago I was stuck on jury duty for a week with an author, Joan Duncan Oliver. We bonded immediately and she gave me a new book she had come out with called Happiness: How oi Find It and Keep It. I choose to share a quote from her book with everyone just to start the week off right.

"Happiness breeds happiness, and builds inner strength. Emotions like love, gratitude, and appreciation makes us more expansive: we reach out and help others, and find creative solutions to problems. Good feelings are self-reinforcing. When we're happy, we can't help to flourish"

Hi April, We get a fair number of applicants, and it varies all the time. It is absolutely NOT required that someone be raw for any length of time. What is required is that someone be truly open and coachable. This is paradigm-busting stuff bas...

I guess if you think of it as eating raw as what God intended, and makes us the purest version physically of what were meant to be, then maybe it is a way to get closer to God and clear away the distracting mess of sickness, and the hormone and em...
