I listened to this Hippocrates lecture. I wanted to know because I know a lot of people are pro fruit here what is the evidence? Do you buy it or do think it is rubbish?

I always wonder. Sugar good or bad even when it is natural?

I knew someone with Diabetes that died from eating a pear. The craving of the taste of a sweet juicy fruit was just too much to take any longer.

Well Snow White died from eating an Apple, but I guess she came to life again, so it doesn't really count!

Seriously though, what was the cause of the Diabetes?
Was it a lifetime of unnatural living? - and then the Pear gets the rap!

Sorry, I didn't mean it in that sense. I just don't think a diet high in sugary fruits are suitable for all people. I totally respect what you do. If you need help planting a Jackfruit orchard, I'm all in!

Thanks for the offer,
I've got lots of baby Jackfruit trees at the moment, so I might hold you to that.
Love and peace ♥

Sugar is not the enemy. It is essential to our bodies. The problem is when we isolate, process and over consume sugar, which unfortunately is the backbone of the American diet because sugar (corn syrup) is cheaper than water in this country. Sugar should be consumed only in its natural state combined with fiber, antioxidants and other important nutrients which are found in raw fruits and vegetables. As with anything though, the consumption of sugar even within raw fruits and vegetables should be monitored so as to have a balance in your life. To much of anything even a nutritious food can make your body off balance. Strive for balance-listen to your body.

Yes! You speak the truth sister! Fiber is the key. Too much isolated sugar is bad, but fruit isn't just sugar! An orange has 7 grams of fiber which balances all the sugar.

Amen to that!! Nowadays all I want is fruit. My kitchen is crammed full of papaya, mango, kiwis, passion fruit, bananas, nectarines, peaches... I crave nothing else. Apart from carrots.

Dr. Doug Graham says that there are no other doctors that can prove his thoeries are fraudulent. How about Dr. Ann Wigmore and Dr. Gabriel Cousens to start?

How do they prove his theories wrong?

The easiest way in the Institute is to perform live blood cell analysis. A patient can be monitored very closely using this technique. It is amazing to see how much our blood changes just from the food we eat. There can be test groups diagnosed with the same disease expressing similar symptoms being placed on different diet, supplements and herbs. Over a one month period the test reusults are examined to determine the best diet for a particular disease. There may be more ways that I am not familiar with or can't recall at the moment.

I was starting to think everyone's beliefs are contrary to my experiences. I am glad to see someone else see this happen to them personally.

Hi Nicole, We don't need any salt at all, and in fact it's always toxic to the body. Salt is a rock, and no matter how small we smash it, it is an inorganic mineral which our bodies cannot really use. Organic sodium is needed by ever single cell ...
