agreed, its more than just food...i know some people with the most beautiful soul, who dont eat much raw food, and they are pure light beings i love to be around :)
The testing on organics is stringent here in Aus,they are pretty strict with their guidelines and checking etc,so im hoping less of this scullduggery goes on...
There was a famous organic grocery in Portland called Daily Grind in Hawthorne. I shopped there for years. You could get a giant bag of vegetables for $6. I later found out that the produce guy was ordering conventional, switching the twisties to organic and pocketing the difference.
Indonesia doesn't generally spray in many areas because they can't afford it.
We'll never know unless we work at the farm. Trader Joes got some heat a while back because one of their Organic Free Range egg producers was mislabeling & didn't meet up to organic labeling standards. Also Grass-fed & grass-finish are 2 different terms most people think are the same. Although it cost more to pay for organic/grass-finished even with the risk of no assurance. It's a chance I'm willing to take, when it comes to my health.
I saw on video that all free range meant was a little door in the chicken coop so chickens can walk outside but normally they keep the door shut, its just for looks
not sure my self, but first , we must remember that some fda laws require all produce to be sprayed with bleach and only god knows what else for public "safety". Also I agree with Charles, who knows what happens during transporting them. And then here's the issue of farmers markets or home grown gardens which are exposed to not only pollution from our daily pollutants like cars, neighbors not so organic or even chemtrails, which will always fall back to the ground.
all you can do is KNOW YOUR FARMER. visit the farm, or grow it yourself. too bad we can't trust labels and grocery stores. you can usually tell by looking at something if it is truly organic or not.
I live in Portland and shop at People's Food Co-op and am totally comfortable that the produce comes from the best local organic farms. The difference between their organics and Fred meijer's organic is extremely obvious. Big price difference too. What else can I do when I only have an eight by eight garden?

I don't trust organic produce in the supermarket. Yet I still purchase items and the farmers market isn't always available, especially in the dead of winter in Michigan.
I lost my ear candling virginity last week, lol. My friend and I didn't have any problems, just really relaxing. So do it with a friend so someone can watch the flame. have fun :)
I've met some hit chix on GITMR. Not satisfying in the least. Just the opposite. Most communication is self-defeating, accomplishes nothing. I would love it if people would leave me alone when I'm out and about. Anybody else?
Mariam, watching this raises questions: for instance, is this guy just an actor?
Seems like it. "Am I glad I went"? Well, in the sense that I knew I had to see him eventually.....I guess I got it over with (and used up my airline credit). Is he a...
"Did I meet any hot chix?" I love it~! Ha! Ha! Ha!
I've met too many of those in my life, already, many more than enough. I think I've had enough. But thanks!
