Is anything sold in a supermarket truly ORGANIC??

if its labelled certified organic,it should be,just like organic certified produce is,in organic shops fruit and veg shops,etc :)

No one knows what happens to stuff when it's transported. I've heard distributors tell me some horror stories, like loading the stuff into trucks with conventional produce and giving everything a good spraying. This is after it's already gotten its organic certification, so it's not like people are checking.

I would say No. No one really know what happens like Charles mentioned during transportation. My dad seems to not trust anything labeled organic here in the US. He says if you want truly organic food, grow it yourself or visit Africa. But I'm a supporter of local organic farming...I trust them more than WF.

I also agree. I thinking rinsing with diluted vinegar is supposed to knock a lot of that gunk off though, right?
