Never heard of clutter clearing but I'm in the process of getting rid of a lot of stuff. Unfortunately, I have to deal with a bit of a pack rat husband who tries to stop me from ejecting stuff. I know that the clearing is actually clearing my head and the space is refreshing and lifting. My soon to be clutter free home is allowing me to be more creative.
Oh my gosh, I couldn't stop laughing. That's so funny. What I do now is if I think it is really important to him (like tools), I'll ask him if he still wants it and will use it. If I think it's just useless stuff (our son's hospital tag), I hide it. If he doesn't say anything about it in a week, I get rid of it and say nothing.

lol. sounds like my dad. my mom waits till he's out of town to start throwing away the useless things (including but not limited to a weight bench in disrepair for the past twenty years, his high school clothes, very very spoiled wine).

My hubz is so the same way...I'm all like every weekend lets get rid of this, lets get rid of that, and oh this too..he's like ohhhhh, I havent seen that in years I want it, ohhhhh I might wear that one day ((tags still on it)), and why we might need that one day. lol and I'm like not today though!
literally I give everything i get away..and he fusses at me!
but what do i care it feels good to give to ppl who truly need it and appreciate it!
yes. i clean up regularly. i see new energies coming.
but sometimes i cant as much as i would wish to...
i clean my closets and shelves more. i love giving away old things which i dont need or dont wear, or dont resonate with. etc etc etc. i always find that after i give away, in some way or the other new things happen to me. new things come, may be not always in the same physical form as to those which i have given away. but instead of missing anything there is just room for more and more.
my desk table and some of my stacks of old books and copies need clearing now.
when i have been really upset, some middle of the night frenzied clear outs have helped! :)

Oh totally, I'm doing it at again at the moment, filling big boxes with stuff to either go or be stored in the attic.....nothing feels better than a beautiful home free of clutter!.....(or maybe I can think of another couple of things....;)
As soon as I went 811 I had a wave of wanting to simplfy my life and sell, give and throw away things I really didn't need anymore.
U know the one year rule? Use it or lose it.If you don't use, look at or wear something for a year do you really need it?
Going raw is only one aspect of choosing to live a simpler life. You will discover that simplfying other aspects of your life other than Clutter clearing will begin to show up.
Yes I love that one year rule. If I do not love a peice of clothing I give it to someone who could enjoy it.
My sister walked in my closet and said you do not have any clothes. But I have like a million outfits it feels like because I mix and match and love everything.
I have finally used the one year rule for my clothes....I now have no wardrobe. I'm left with one pair of jeans, a tracksuit, 2 sweaters and 2 skirts. I need to go shopping. The good news is that I still have a fantastic summer/spring wardrobe. Hahaha.
it's kinda like cleaning our inestines and goes along with raw foods in general. clean house inner and outer! less is more! i love releasing stuff! i actually have very little stuff at this point and i love it that way. i actually also made a good bit of cash selling things through the local consignment shop. win win!
We will be teaching an incredible Cosmetics Making class next Spring near Philadelphia. I have a special guest coming from England. Using all natural and organic products. I have not decided yet. I'm looking for a really cool location now. This is...
