be your own guru...i think in the beginning of eating raw foods, its good to get a whole bunch of info from different people in the 'no'...and then take the bits that work for you, after much self experimenting,,then do it for yourself,be your own guru..
I just got tired of listening to people being pigeon holed as all the same, and exactly the same way of eating is meant for everyone,so i said stuff it,im on my own baby!
well i think there is the source within...and the source without. they're both necessary. but when it comes time, and there will come the time, we can only follow the source within because information gathering, and blind following, has become somewhat of an addiction unto itself. not that that blights the fact that there are outer teachers...there are great ones. but they can only show us so far and then we need to realize that they are just leading us to the creative voice within. there are definitely times for both. as far as nutrition goes...how i feel when i sprint up a hill or go for a run (and then how i feel later!) gives me the most valuable info...8^))
yeah i'm over it. i think ratios and all that sort of stuff being told to eat just makes me feel trapped. i like freedom in raw eating. often when i feel free to eat what i want i make really good choices. i think trusting yourself is more important.
my body gives me clearer signals like i want green juice!!!
or i want a gourmet raw pizza. or i want to go bananas and eat banana smoothies all day. the more we trust ourselves the easier eating raw becomes i think.
