Pioneer makes a good, very high quality plant based enzyme that is combined with herbs. I do better with Nutricology raw pancreas capsules (not for everyone, I know!) Enzymatic Therapy Megazyme is another that I personally like.
I used to work supplement retail for years and I found that some people's bodies do well with the plant-based enzymes and others do better with the stronger animal-based ones. I prefer to use the ones that actually work for me, otherwise I'd use plant-based. You'll know if they work based on how your stomach feels (less bloating, etc.) and by how your stools look.

I use the Udo's enzymes, which are plant based, and I've found them really helpful - they really work for me.
