Depends on what partner you want. If you want someone to express love as you want it, you can have that. If you find it more fun to have the challenge of making someone express love in the way you wish, then you can have that.. If you feel that you don't deserve someone who expresses love the way you want, then you won't have it.
The key to getting anything you want, be it a relationship or a material thing, is to know exactly what you want and ask yourself why you shouldn't have it. When you get through the limitations, then know you've always had it and choose to manifest it if you wish.

Thank you for trying though Raini and Lorianne.. silence isn't necessarily the answer to everything. But communicating can be hard- and just figuring out if someone is authentic or just using you is important.
I think taking an extra 30 seconds and communicating to the person somehow that you do love them on some level is important because so many people are going through this world empty, or full of fear, fear of rejection, etc.
I don't think feeling or communicating love is nonsense Raini- it may be the most important thing in the world.

It seems like a few of us are in a similar state of mind really. Even though you were getting sex all the time you didn't feel loved? Maybe they weren't as evolved as you spiritually and incapable of it. That's the way I see it. But I don't know the whole story with you but I hope you find what you want and need- and it can be frustrating. I mean some people do really well at festivals but a lot of people are too shy for really meeting someone in that way. Maybe there are other ways people can meet and heal together like meditation retreats?

Loving without attachment. No person, just loving. That is true love in my eyes. I feel you Esseya in the aspect that when in a relationship you can't be your loving self to everyone without your partner feeling equal... i mean it's great to be equal, but in a relationship it's as if the partner is above everyone else.

my partner loves cuddling more than i do. he also loves giving me massages and ... well everything!! nevertheless i am not saying everything is perfect. we both work very long hours and we hardly every have time together and when we do it sometimes can help but feel forced ... or expected .... ewww :(.... this week has been a nightmare ... but next week is vacations!! so am extatic!! eheheh but on the weekend when we both have time to relax everything goes back to normal and it's great.
sexually with my partner we hit it off from the beginning and it was fantastic. right from the word go it was an intimate, sexual, exciting, and extremely satisifying experiance. we have our ups and downs but usually becase of external factors.
nevertheless, answering the question "How can a woman feel like she is really loved in a relationship?" --- the answer is without thinking about sex!!! sex has nothing to do with love. its something we do as a urge to reproduce. love is acepting ever part of someone ... FOREVER .. no matter what. sex or no sex. saggy boobs, hairy bum ... you name it forever.
if you can accept that in your partner and your partner in you, now and forever, that is love.
i have always be puzzeled that i english we only have one word for love. i speak german and spanish and they both seem to have 2. (well a few more, but 2 destint)
spanish have a word called "cariño" which is like love, but like the love you have for a friend (even though it's extemely strong)
the also say "te quiero" befor they say "te amo". the both mean i love you but the second is much stronger.
in german people usualy say "ich hab dich lieb" before they say "ich liebe dich" they mean the same ... but the idea of love is different.
somehow i feel like other cultures understand love better than ours. there is an amazing book by eric fromm called "the art of loving" for me it was a mind blowing read.
but separating love from sex. if you are comfortable with your body, atttracted to your partener and confortable with the idea of sex ...... your in for a fun ride (no pun intended). maybe a glass of raw wine might inhance the fun.
but if you are looking for love through sex you will not find it. love and sex are separate and very different. just because i love my partner it doesnt mean that the sex is always fantastic. and just because i dont love my partner doesnt mean the sex wont be great.
if you want to feel loved, love yourself first. then you wont need a partner feel "loved", they will simply be part of your life affirming your belief
