I was thinking since she tried the conventional vegan thing which didn't seem to do much for her, how about everyone sign up for Twitter & send her tweets like:
@oprah have you ever thought about going raw? For more information, go to www.welikeitraw.com [or insert your favorite raw food info site web address]
I love/hate Oprah. I love her cause I'm supposed to, I hate her cause she continues to do low NRG, fear inducing shows like Online Sex Predators Are Out To Get Yo Kids, White America (before the advertisers/pushers of artificial food & drink do)!
But I feel for her. I can relate to her story of gaining weight/feeling crappy after eating Organic Blue Corn Chips from Garden of Eatin, thinking that because it was Organic it couldn't hurt her. I made the same mistakes when I first went to the hippie health food store, thinking I'm in foodie Paradise, & that if it's organic, it's practically medicinal. Paul Newman, RIP, but I want my money back on your cookies, old man.
Anyway, have a great weekend everyone, & pardonomay my French.

is this narrated by that fake yokel from 30 Rock?
pretty cool presentation but it didn't answer my question. like if you add somene famous or whatever..can they see your @ messages if they arn't following you?
i like facebook now that they made it twitter feed style... but you can also have the pics and messages and all that jazz in the background. their previous site-layout was disasterous IMO... WAY overcompicated i wanted to puke everytime i went online on that site hehe :P
No, you just go to the thing in your sidebar that says "@(insert user name here)," and it shows you all the @ messages you receive, even if they're from people you're not following. Some people, though, might not bother.

yeah people want to associate 'organic' with 'healthy'. fact is organic is basically a neutral setting. Its kinda like that other Chris Rock thing..."YOU ARE SUPPOSED to take care of your kids." LOL
food is SUPPOSED to be organic, but people are used to eating garbage..that is also non-organic. what they need is to bring consciousness to their food choices and which foods are the most healthful and least poisoned. prior to that its really just a label or a poor excuse to qualify one thing over another thing. Its like...will eating an organic apple make you MORE healthy? probably not...but if it was conventional..your health might slip slightly/fractionally of a fraction. going to the more processed stuff it becomes more clear of course.
just my opinion.
Someone posted a Oprah vid on calorie restriction here..and I was surprised that she asked the guy flat out if he was '100% raw" I wasn't aware that term was floating around national TV. to me that is groundbreaking enough.
The best way to prevent a cold are to eat foods that are minimally toxic. That means eating mostly fruits and vegetables. Organic if possible. Raw. Fresh.
What also helps is getting plenty of rest and sleep. As much as you need.
And then all the...
