i think i have perfect health, im still young, nothing a want to change. Do i have to eat raw foods?

Im just wondering. Everywhere i go it almost like "change your life" all the time. I love my life. Im not struggling with anything besides a stomach illness i have to live with the rest of my life. I can handle that. Sooo, i just have to be careful of what im eating, and when im eating. Thats all. I know what i can eat and i know what not to eat. It`s simple. But, when the rawlife came to me it was like: "can i be healthier? happier? better? maybe no stomach illness anymore?". New foods i have to experiment with. When i get sick, im really gettting sick. Im not scared, but just a little hm. Can i jump into it? OR, is it easier to just be on a normal "healthy" cooked diet? Do i trust these people who are telling me that "RAW IS THE WAY". hm. Yes, i get sick sometimes on raw foods. Even on processed cooked foods. everything. It`S just gaaaaaaaahhh. What to do?

Now, i want to live longer, i want the healthiest life. I know i can do that.

Someone see my problem or is it too bad english maybe? :P I just know that every japanese meal i`ve had, has always gone great. Rice etc. Gentle and kind to me. apples and grapes = devil. bananas = sometimes good, sometimes devil. cooked kale = SUPER! raw kale = SUPER DEVILISH!. bee pollen = little balls of kaos. Theese are just some of them.

I know i`ve talked about this before, and i got BIG HELP really! THANK YOU SO MUCH! :D

Still, i wonder if the raw lifestyle really is something for me?

ok one cup is 250mls,and theres 1000mls in a litre~sooo..oh god my math sucks..
so one litre = 9.6dl i think...

I know how you feel! Just try 80-90% raw, it's what I do, I feel wicked, very confident and happy =] - not as good as 100% raw but still very good, i love it, i will probably end up 100% because i just like raw foods better now i find...

I don't quite feel like wading through a mass of replies here, so if this has been said already, well, tough cookies.

As far as I see it, people turn to raw to improve their health but continue with raw to seek continual health. It's a life insurance policy, the best we know of. Most long-term raw foodists continue on because they don't want to be that stereotypical geezer with five or six diet-related diseases, struggling to walk a flight of stairs or do other old people things. Like knitting. And backgammon. Bingo.

None of that raw food white noise matters, if you're confident that the choices you make are healthy for you then there is nothing to wonder about :)

Well, I think a lot of people are here because raw food makes sense to them, or "resonates" or whatever you want to call it... It just feels right. I definitely wouldn't say you're weak. The general consensus is that it's difficult for most people to maintain a high raw diet. And in a lot of cases, it's not because they find junk food too tempting, it's because there are some cooked foods that they do well by. There are just some things that we find difficult to believe aren't health foods, maybe because we've been told for so long that they're healthy, and maybe because we've never felt poorly after eating them. It's all association.

So pick and choose, experiment; find out what you feel great on and pinpoint things that keep you from feeling your best. We're all different, if not because of migration adaptation and gene muddling than with the things we've done to our bodies or the environments we're in. Maybe bananas only digest well in high humidity, or your ancestors developed sensitivities to kale fibre, who knows :P

Maybe focus on finding just one raw fruit you feel fantastic when you eat, and one vegetable, etcetera. It doesn't have to be hard, and it shouldn't be a struggle. Just learn about your body and what it does and doesn't like to be fed :)

If you enjoy it and it makes you happy and its healthy and it gives you energy and strength... then eat it!

I remembered I took some pictures from last week. We used bees wax candles, like anthony was saying, white/ off white. No filter. We used a biodegradable paper plate, to cover the head. Alot of wax comes out!
