I could live on these, really. *drool* Think I'll have to move to where Uti lives... I want a persimmon orchard in my backyard! Please!
Their price here (in my local little Turkish shop) is quite "normal". 1.60€ per kg, which isn't cheap but still cheaper than some other exotic fruit. Not organic though. Does anybody know how heavily they're loaded with pesticides? I usually only wash them and eat them with the peel... Maybe I shouldn't.

mine are sort of longer and have a heart shape. It was pretty soft on the inside. I loved the ashy feeling...it wasn't overwhelming just nice.
i love them now...but my fav fruits are still mangos, dates, peaches and banana's ...durian is pretty awesome.
