Give it to me Raw

Baby =]

how to loose as little weight as possible? 811 =)?

I like my body. It's a little chubby. But I think it's mad buff ;].
I want to keep the chunky (Y). Can I keep it =)?

811 looks raddd, I am so into it, and 811s don't seem all skinny, they come in all these lush shapes and sizes -apart from round of course- I want to be like them; picking a size, a nice little chunky 811 chick. I'm not into fats to help me keep the chunky.
So do you reckon that I can achieve my dream of being a chunky 811er =o?
What about quantum eating - what do you think of that - fat 811 breakfast & a medium lunch with no tea?

=)
Hmm opinions please awesome people. Let's make a rad plan muhaha xD!

thanks

I bet what you think is skinny, isn't really skinny. Don't worry about it. Just focus on being healthy and enjoying it. You won't lose a ton of weight unless you want to.

I'm eating mostly fruit and greens right now, and I'm chunky! But I eat a LOT.

What is 811?
And I've heard a little about quantum eating, it sounds really interesting; but again, I only know a little about it.
I've heard about things you can eat in order to maintain your weight. I think there was something about bananas. I'm not sure, I'll read up on it again and get back to you.

OMG love you! Thank you =)! You're so sweet!
811, is like the ratio of calories, I can't remember the specifics sorry =/. But you get the bulk of your calories from fruit, and have lots of greens and hardly any fats, it's pretty popular.
What kind of raw are you doing xD?xx

Hello again :) I've only been raw for two months and have been dabbling in some different things. I like the idea of instinctive eating the most I think. Nothing is really set for me, I eat what I feel like eating, what makes me feel good while still staying 100 percent raw (or very close to it). I also like the idea of eating tons of greens, I'm hoping to get a manuel juicer for my 17th birthday in july. :). But yeah, the 811 sounds interesting, I'll keep it in mind; I've also heard about the 40/20/20? Or something like that. Anyways, I thought I read in one of my books how to maintain your weight but it was really about how to gain weight. So, I went and searched online for a bit and couldnt find much, but I did find this:

Can you lose too much weight eating raw?

Sometimes people are concerned that they are losing too much weight. The strange thing is that, while they may be concerned that they look too skinny, they still feel better, more healthy and more energetic. What is happening is this: The body is dropping any fat stored up, and any muscle that is too heavily toxic to rebuild. It isn’t something to be worried about. After your body gets rid of the fat and toxic materials, it will start rebuilding with healthy muscle. After detoxifying, people tend to even out at their ideal weight and stay there. If you feel like you’re too skinny, or are worried about getting too skinny, you can start a program of regular exercise. This will help to replace the fat and toxic muscle you've lost with healthy muscle.

So basically this is saying that it is beneficial to loose the extra weight (because generally the body stores toxins in fat). Then you build it back up with much healthier components. I read a testimonial about a woman weighing 215 lbs who went on a raw diet where she dropped to 123 lbs and then stabilized at 140. So I guess its not exactly the answer you were looking for, but i hope it was helpful. :)

Wow, thanks Ashley for doing this for me -hugs!-, I owe you =)!
Oh awesome, intuitive eating is really cool! That sounds like a really rad approach to it =D!
Oh that's interesting, I have never waited for that healthy weight to build up, I just freak out and stop eating raw lol. What was the thing you read about how to gain weight =)?
<3 Thanks xox

The thing about how to gain weight is from this book I have called 'The Live Food Factor'. its a really, really informative book. It has soo much in it; its huge though (about 600 pages). I'll type some of it on here:

"The GetWell Weight-Gain System"
1. undertake a short fast to improve digestion, absorption, assimilation and elimination of nutrients. When you start eating again, your body will be in the best condition to start building healthy tissues and get every nutrient out of every bite you eat.
2. Eat raw foods in proper combination.
3. Maximize all fruit, especially caloric dried fruit, sweet fruit and avacados
4. Take an extra fruit meal a day
5. empahasis caloric starchy vegetables (corn, mature peas, carrots, root veggies, sprouted beans etc) Shred these instead of eating whole. Then cut them out for 1-2 weeks at a time to maximize weight gain.
6.maximize high-protein nuts and seeds.
7. take 4-6 ten-ounce glasses of fresh made juices a day between meals.
8.aerobic excersise for 1-4 weeks at a time and stretch daily for 20-30 minutes.

Thats most of it, the rest of it just tells you to practice the 'ten energy enhancers' (good air, comfortable body temp., cleanliness, pure water, sleep, raw eating, sunshine, excersise, rest, play and emotional balance)
The book is very much associated with Natural Hygiene, which is another branch of the raw diet.
Thank you for the hug :)

I actually gain weight on 811. I stay thinner with a bit more fat and protein, less sugar. I would say that if 811 is right for you, and you are already a healthy weight, then you will be able to maintain a healthy weight; however, if you are very overweight you might lose some. There are lots of buff 811ers, though. You just have to keep up the exercise for the body you want.

they gossip about which teams are going to trade or sign star players. Most of it is bullshit. They just create rumors to sell papers / get hits. Still I eat it up.

Hi agree with Erin, everything she suggested is very similiar to wha ti have found. I am also seeing an accupuncturist and realize that we actually need cooked foods in our diet to support the spleen. Healing with whole foods is a great start..
