Give it to me Raw

We all know there is a revolution going on. But how big is it exactly? That's why this voluntary project started:

The main goal of rawvegancounter.com is to show the world that there is indeed a raw food movement, and even a revolution.
We want to:

* prove that raw foodists do exist and the movement is booming
* prove that raw food is a valid and real diet, since so many people are following it
* support raw foodists by letting them know they are not alone, but there is a great crowd supporting doing the same
* to get people to accept raw foodism as a valid menu option in restaurants and social gatherings

If you are a raw foodist, take a moment to get counted.

Good luck w/ the project. BTW, I did a speculative blog post on this topic about a year ago:

http://purejeevan.com/blog/?p=262

I figured maybe 30,000 raw foodists in the U.S. ??

Interesting... I noticed it's getting really big here in Europe as well.

What's most peculiar about the statistics we gathered so far is that 89% of the counted raw foodists are female... huh...

I think that's it...

I too have wondered this but thought it would be too hard to find out.
Good luck, Add one on the tally for me!

I was just wondering that! What about raw vegetarian? I'd love to add myself to the counter, but I'm not vegan :(

The counter is about raw vegan diet. I'm not sure if you mean vegan in a "I don't wear wool way", or if you eat raw milk. There is a difference of course :-)
We mainly want to see to evolution of raw foodism. Some people count themselves raw from 75%, others only from 100%. Who am I to say who is correct? As long as the intension and the consciousness are there, it is raw vegan for me. That's what we are trying to follow, that's what we are looking at. How many people are making an effort to follow this life altering diet. :-)

Love,

I mean I eat a little raw dairy from time to time :)
It would be cool if there was a counter for raw foodists in general, but nevertheless it will be really interesting to see the results of this particular project :)

Well said! Count me in! (even though my raw cheese/raw fish/raw honey proclivities remain part of my routine)

I've watched that. It is so weird that they have that show on. I also watched the old v's. They are a trip- with 80s hair and the spacesuit type outfits they wear. If you look at how small our planet is compared to others like Niburu- you can see ...

Thanks for checking this out Vamp. It is truly amazing if you can be open minded enough to watch the video. People act like we haven't invented space travel. If you can accept that- then how hard would it be to accept jumping onto a planet that is...

Hi El-bo, You're absolutely right; sodium is not the problem, but sodium chloride, and inorganic mineral salt which always causes water retention and raises blood pressure. We don't need any of that.
