Haha, it's generally not so bad but I'm just going up north for a bit and at the moment there are some cases of dengue fever that have come about via mozzies so I want them to be as unattracted to me as possible!
Brylcream...they hate it, and if you eat lots of B vitamins, also bogwort works...they dont like me they have a tase and look bewildered and I think spit it out !! LOL...I am a natural repellent !!..maybe I should rub up gainst people and get paid for it ..:)
There are certain oils that will work. Mosquitos breed in standing water, so empty out any buckets outside. Check all the screens in your home. I turn a Vornado fan on at night. It blows right over me. The mosquitos have really weak wings and are not able to fly above me or land on me.

Actually just ran into it over the net and than read this thread :)

also my mum has known that "Rose Geranium/Pelargonium" helps to keep them out.
she put this plant on my brothers window and he stopped complaining about them :) also it's very nice to have more plants in the house :P so you get 2 in 1 ^_^

I haven't tried yacon; I think it's still too sweet, technically. I believe stevia is truly the only natural sweetener that is not a form of sugar. When I add vanilla flavor and a little coconut oil to the stevia, it's kind of like maple...
