Give it to me Raw

Vegmo

How can one speicies have such widely varying nutritional needs?

I get the raw thing, but how can nutritionists have such incredibly different views on what we should be eating?

On the one hand we have people like D. Graham who practically shun fat altogether, and, on the other hand, people like Aajonus Vonderplanitz who eat well over 50% fat (he claims to eat 1-2 sticks of raw butter per day, lots of raw meats, hardly any fruit, and never exercises).

This is like night and day. Is this Aajonus Vonderplanitz guy for real? Anyone tried his methods?

I just can't fathom how there could be such disparity of nutritional beliefs for humans.

Ripley's believe it or not.

Rotting meat- High meat is considered to be full of beneficial bacteria. There's a few videos of people eating High Meat on youtube. It's also a delicacy in some countries. Very popular with fish & egg in Asia.

Ajonus seems to phoney to me. He gives like 5 different reasons on why he choose to eat the way he does. had a dream with some Indian chief, tried to kill himself, was living with inuits.. etc...

Although he does have some good insight & knowledge on certain subjects. He comes off as to much of a con IMO. It's great that he helped them get through some health issues, but his followers are to cult like for my preference.

I do like the Violent Femmes but I think that is too pessimistic. Nihilistic hard driving folk.

Soft rock is soft, not driving rock, but soft gushy love songs, romantic, smooth..stuff you are embarrassed to admit you like. Stuff that makes you imagine you are swimming with sea horses, or hanging out on a rainbow with your love.

Did you just blend banana and vanilla? I made ice cream with banana and cacao nibs... it was really good.

That looks really good. I should make more elaborate desserts, I tend to keep it simple.

Only because Suvine asked me to. I have almost no idea what qualifies as soft rock, but if most of the music here is any indication, that's probably because I don't actually like soft rock. For the most part. Does Queen qualify as soft rock? I ha...
