Give it to me Raw

Hippocrates Health Institute and Other Retreats for Serious Health Issues

Hi,

I was wondering who here has been to the HHI in Florida and can vouch for it and say their program really works and changed their life around? At an est $5000 for 3 weeks it is a bit pricey.

I'm helping my friend look for a raw resort that will help him with his adrenal gland issues. He needs them to be addressed asap. He thinks the HHI will cure and fix all his problems.

Any thoughts? Is Tree of Life better? I also found on the Internet that a lot of the raw retreats are more for relaxation/mild detoxification vs. addressing serious health issues.

Thank you everyone!

I met a lady, and she cured from cancer in 3 weeks, the radio-scientist couldn't find anything anymore when she returned.

I am sure it is true, because a friend of mine was at Hippocrates for education-programms, when this lady was there...

Hi Diana Li, I was there at HHI in March of 08, I completed the Life Change Program. I did not have any illness. I had detox symptoms primarily the first two weeks. My diet prior was cooked vegan snack food. I do believe that even three weeks is or can be a bit short to see results.

There were many people with some serious illnesses and many improved. A guy with cancer that was also doing chemotherapy and had sticky blood or rouleaux blood which cleared up for him. An older woman possibly in her upper 70s or 80s that came in in a wheel chair was ably to walk (I think with the help of a cane or something). In their magazine their are inspiring stories of success people give. I still had sticky blood when I left but the cells were more active. I did feel a bit more alert, I also did not do the colonics.

One benefit of doing the Life Change Program is (if I'm right) they offer a lifetime of support once you leave. You can send any additional blood tests that you get done to them and they will guide you on your journey to health weather you have kept with the lifestyle or not.

I think it depends on what type of person a person is, I think some people that are used to authoritative support such as that from doctors may benefit greatly or need such support.

I'm guessing that you are going for the cheapest rate where you don't stay at the place. That is what I did and I think it was $5000. Than there's your travel expenses and camping expenses, it adds UP.

I am a very independent and strong willed person so if I was to do that lifestyle again I would do it at home. If this is the way you are (or whoever), I believe you will benefit much more by doing it at home alone. It would be much much cheaper. Brian Clement even says something to the effect that "people don't need to be there to live the lifestyle", just scrap that though it's obvious when you find out what they have to offer and then what you can do at home or in your local town. If you want to do it at home, I suggest buying a juicer maybe greenstar, goldstar (I think one that presses it) twin gear juicer, a wheatgrass juicer, or whatever else you need, find a place you can get colonics, live blood analysis, Spectracell or intracellular analysis (as this type of blood test tests what is inside the cell and not just what's in the fluid surrounding the cell) to find out if or what your deficient in etc.

I suggest you to continue to study up.

HI Wayne,

Thank you for all your helpful input!

I just placed my order for their magazine.

My thinking is that if someone pays Hippocrates $5000-6000 for the LCP, Hippocrates would help them on the journey to get better though counseling and specific therapy while one was there. Because you're right, if someone was going to be paying $5000 for 21 days of raw food and wheatgrass only it would be much cheaper at home.

There is some counseling and specific therapy while one is there. I think it comes down to what you believe you want and or is good.

I would look to see what I could find in my community.

I would have saved myself lots of money. It sounds to me that it may be right for someone who needs counseling.

Here we go, I think I'm a walking advertisement...

Don't listen to all the flashy glamour of the ad. I do believe though that the testimonials are true. They even sent me home with a DVD of the infomercial.

don't agree with the whole raw food creating a damp environment thing because of the wildly different effects of different raw foods. i've found candida to respond to 100% raw, several different approaches.

I like to do fasts as well and I think the power in fasting is that its a remedial action, one part of the process of purifiying. For instance if you feel you have a lot of non-virtuous residue or spiritual obstacles to remove, you generate regret...

i would say give it time...if you are feeling flu like symptoms i would say you are detoxing...40 days isnt a long time, when you consider how long you havent been 100% well..your body will heal and clean house in its own time....
