Give it to me Raw

I think I've finally gotten a hold on my acne. I'm not breaking out much any more. However, I have lots and lots of red and brown marks from 5 or so years of having acne, especially on my chin/cheeks/facial perimeter. In addition my face gets red super easy and just looks red and irritated all the time even though I only wash with water or exfoliate with ground flaxseed. Are there any super healing raw foods I should focus on to heal my skin? Any raw natural skin treatments I could apply externally? Supplements? I'm tired of feeling like I look unhealthy because of my facial skin. I feel really good. I want my face to look glowing and unblemished too!

Well my skin has gone super nice just from doing the raw food thing by itself.

It goes extra super nice from doing MSM. Sometimes i mix it up in a spray bottle with distilled water and spray it right on. I also magnetise my shower line which makes the water wetter somehow. Best not to get that chlorinated water on your skin either so a shower filter may be useful..

I used to have extreme acne. Going to dermatologists ruined my health; they kept me on antibiotics for years.

I found steaming my skin and rubbing fresh-cut onion on it did wonders for my zits.

Now the only thing I use on my skin is avocado. It's remarkable.

But some of the ladies on board are really on top of different treatments.

I'm hoping someone can mention what kind of herbs are good to steam our skin with.

OH, also taking probiotics seemed to enhance my skin since it helped balance my internal flora.

hmm. i had long hair, shoulder length and i was told if i trim my hair and all that, i wont get boils. and ive trimmed it and my brother tells me make it short boy cut, dont have long hair, i had boils on my back and its gone see.

im still very confused of chopping my tresses, im a man, yes but i like long hair. i dont shampoo my hair that often anymore. before i had long hair and i loved to shampoo and all that, but now its too much volume, too many layers and texures to dry easily. and its quite unmanageable.

well you look really nice in appalachian trail september 08 020. really ur really sexy. i love your face and i dont seem to notice anything, you look hot and ur face is perfect. but well i know how insecure it feels, how old are you? im 21.
im new to this raw thing, and im planning to do that 7 day diva detox thing.. lol

i think you shud try this 7 day diva detox thing. im really hoping to get this bloating stomach inside, and to get rid of these boils and to be more focused. and well my face to look more firm and awesome, but well i know it doesnt matter anyways, so well tomorrow is day 1. i hope i can last 24 hours without eating.

hi samantha!

i use coconut oil as a cleanser and moisturizer. it has a natural exfoliant quality. if your skin is really sensitive, how often do you use the flax seed to exfoliate? are you dry or oily?

msm is amazing as well, and there are many essential oils that facilitate healing and lighten scars and sun spots. roman chamomile is one. lavender and tea tree are antiseptic and speed healing as well. rose is great for sensitive skin. those are standard oils and usually readily available at your local health food store. i use straight up raw extra virgin coconut oil, coconut oil with chamomile and lavender (my blend) a coconut oil/cacao butter bar i make with neroli and lavender oil for my whole body (about once a week for my face) neem is great for healing but you will smell like sauteed garlic peanut disaster!!! so i stay away from that one.

I do not know if your skin is on the dry side or the oily side......I find that coconut oil works well externally and internally, also start eating more sulfur.....like garlic, onion, horseradish, radish and dark leafy greens

good luck:)!

Hi Samatha

how did you get your acne under control so far, what is your diet like?...and is the skin condition completely healed you feel or just improved or controlled right now??

What skin type are you at the moment you would say?

Try this Doreen. I found out about it when I worked at Jubbs longevity. There is absolutely no aftertaste and a bottle lasts forever. I've been using it for years. Lucky Vitamin has amazing prices on many things too. http://www.luckyvitamin.com/i...

I was at my friends tonight and she had a pack and I opened one up with a nutcracker, omg. Is it a nut? Its so meaty and you don't have to cook or boil. I was so happy. I took them with me to my new house and I love them. Have you ever??
