Blech. Poor excuse for a well informed and researched opinion. A freakin high school student could write a more informative article. Major fail. Bet she didn't see the response she's getting from us coming!!! Loved Matthew Kenney's comment!

well. she is a registered dietitian

is perky and creative with her titles "Egg-citing News About My Favorite Comfort Food"
scrambled eggs. I love eggs pretty much any way you can prepare them, but scrambled with toast is what I crave when I’m not feeling well, think I’m not feeling well, hate my mother or hate myself. I need myself a good dose of food love.
The other day when I went out for brunch with my girlfriends after a long run, I needed some major comfort food for my achy muscles and bruised ego from not being able to keep up for most of the run. so I injected myself with scrambled eggs. I noticed that most of my friends ordered egg white-only options. what a bunch of part time vegans
I flexetarianed my intellectual power muscle
I told them that without the yolk, they were missing out on most of the important vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients in eggs, like vitamin D, zinc, and lutein. Without these yolks, these folks would have to sit in the sun for a fucking hour! morons! They reminded me that the average yolk packs 210 mg of cholesterol. I shot back that dietary cholesterol is not what raises blood cholesterol, then took a shot of yolk for good measure it’s saturated fat fuckers, and egg yolks are relatively low in saturated fat. Moreover, studies show that people who eat eggs don’t necessarily have high blood cholesterol levels.
When I read a major report about eggs and choline being linked to a reduction in breast cancer, I dashed it off to my egg yolk-averse friends. who all happen to be men, because female friends hate when you talk shit about their omelette
Part-time vegan? Just call it something else. That's like saying I'm on the Bi Now/ Gay Later program.
Even when I quit being vegan years ago and intro'd just eggs and venison back into my diet but if I had to define it, I'd just tell people I eat healthy but eat eggs and deer, too. Or I'd say I eat meat sometimes but like a lot of vegan dishes. For some reason ___% vegan or veg sounds ridiculous but saying you're high raw makes sense.
I love when people say raw is expensive. Sure, maybe if most of my diet was nuts or agave, but that's like saying you're vegan but just eat Tofutti Cuties all day and never cook. Fruit and vegs are inexpensive. A food processor is inexpensive. Laying in a hospital bed all day from SAD foods...now that's expensive.
Ain't that the freakin' truth about Ramen. I used to live off that crap. It never occurred to me that food purchased from the dollar store was probably not that good for my health.
That sounds like a good topic to discuss! Thanks Lee. I thought it would be great if raw was the final destination before ascension because I don't see people who are really into it going back to eating meat or junk food.. but maybe you meant that...
Sorry sometimes I write something and don't write it out clearly. Not so much transitioning to something, but something that comes and goes, very transitory. Like a snow ball comes and melts and thats the end of the story. People don't cry when a ...

I'm glad you disagree with my definition of spirituality. I was thinking about that in regards to this thread actually. Most things you can analyze and chop up logically but individual preferences not so easy. I think what I was trying to mean by ...
Hi April,
We get a fair number of applicants, and it varies all the time.
It is absolutely NOT required that someone be raw for any length of time. What is required is that someone be truly open and coachable.
This is paradigm-busting stuff bas...
