keeping motivated and staying raw who else had this problem? What to do to stay motivated. Being a person who has come such a long way in recovering from an eating disorder I find myself addicted to food although healthy food but not raw. I want to be raw so badly and I think my pitfall is I get the attitude of 100% or nothing.
maybe some help how you stayed motivated.

Harry! It's so good to hear from someone who has come such a long way so recently. :) You're rock n' roll!
And gabbygirl, that "all or nothing" attitude plagues MANY women; especially coming from an EDO background. That is one thing you'll need to let go of.
One thing you can do, (again, coming from an EDO background) is to use that obsession with food to your BENEFIT. Maybe challenge yourself to add one new, interesting fruit or veggie to your repertoire each week - something you've never tried before. Or maybe you can be "raw until dinner." For many people (from what I'm reading), coming around to 100% raw can be a slow process. It is looking that way for me. I plan on staying at my current pattern for about a year. Then, if I feel ready to move to the next level of raw-ness, I will! :)
Be KIND to yourself and if you obsess, just put the obsessing to good use. :)

Gabby I 2nd everything that everyone has said. You have to address the underlying challenges that may be causing you to make food choices that you rather stay away from.Once you heal the part of you that is relying on food to resolve a deeper problem it will get easier. Don't stuff your challenges with food, when the food is gone the problem will still exist.Ask yourself if you are hungry or if you are escaping something that is bothering you.
I'm coming from a lifelong of EDs and used to think the same thing. Read Burke Bryant's 'New to This Lifestyle' sticky in the forum. He addresses this.
