My Grandfather my mother have had them removed and one of the ladies is about to get into get hers out. Anyone found any evidence showing why this happens. I suppose it is diet again. Any clue?

Heartburn is caused by acidosis (when the body's natural PH shifts from neutral or alkaline to acidic). High protein foods, especially animal products, are generally acidic, so they create an acidic body. Plant foods are generally more alkaline, so it would make sense that going vegan would align your body's PH better and thusly stop the heartburn.
I actually go to see a surgeon in two days to talk about taking my gall bladder out. But I'm not doing it!!! I've read too much about diet being a major factor in most disease. I was on the SAD until a little over a week ago. I firmly believe that a raw vegan diet will cure me completely.
Thanks for correcting me ... Want to be my editor? :-) I write usually at work and sneak on the board. Don't have time to check my spelling. I appreciate it! :-)
I'm feeling deprived; I might have been a little too...early for these books. Sounds like they might be worth checking out though as I love a good children's book. Probably the right emotional level for me...
