My Grandfather my mother have had them removed and one of the ladies is about to get into get hers out. Anyone found any evidence showing why this happens. I suppose it is diet again. Any clue?
A diagnosis of gallstones could be the reason why. I had mine removed several years ago because I was experiencing chronic nausea. I didn't have any gallstones (just a few polyps). The doctor said removing me gallbladder might (or might not) help. Well at the time I figured it was worth a try. Removing it didn't improve my nausea problem. A long juice fast, followed by a raw vegan diet is what has helped with the nausea. In the meantime, I regret ever having my gallbladder removed.
wow sorry to hear that. The lady at my office did mention when she gets it removed she will celebrate food with pizza and soda that she can not eat now.
I actually see the whole experience as a blessing, since it is what got me going on a healthier lifestyle.
The lady at your office will probably find that her body will say NO to too much fat without her gallbladder. If she wants to eat like that she'll do better taking digestive enzymes to help with the fat digestion.

Actually, that lady has weight gain and increased flatulence due to poor fat digestion to look forward to! When you don't have a gallbladder, you no longer are able to dump the same amount of bile into the small intestine to break down the fat.
I used to have so many customers who'd had their gallbladders out who had gas and bloating whenever they ate cooked fat or too much fat. They also tended to put on weight after their surgery. My mom sure did! Tell your coworker she's going to need to take enzymes with a high amount of lipase after he surgery.

I know people who have used high-dose lipase between meals and lost weight. Bile salts would definitely make sense!
I think anyone who has no gallbladder should avoid cooked fat like the plague (they seem to do well on raw olive and flax oil) and they should take extra care of their liver with bitter greens and warm water with lemon. Also, Himalaya Liver Care is such great stuff and has been extensively studied.
Thanks, Erin. Yay! ... That's actually what I am using. I just use it when I have an overtly fatty food, not with every meal. Otherwise, I've been using it therapeutically on an empty stomach. This is an off-topic, but do you know if enzymes can help cellulite?

I've heard that lipase does help;) You have to take it between meals on an empty stomach, though.
Also. this formula looks interesting: http://www.qnhshop.com/product.php?productid=16249&cat=332&...
I got my hubby a bottle of this once (I didn't get him more because he kept forgetting to take it;-P)
I tried a dose just to see if it was a stimulant and it didn't make my heart feel at all racy (and I'm sensitive to stimulants). I'm considering getting some for myself!

They are also caused by hormonal influences (the main group of people who get them are "female, fat and over-40") and also by weaknesses in the gallbladder/liver meridian.
Oh- another lesser known cause are parasites! I know a guy who had parasites from eating raw fish (his diet was otherwise high-raw and very healthy) and he couldn't figure out why ,despite frequent liver/gallbladder flushes, he still formed stones. Well, he did a parasite cleanse followed by a liver flush and eliminated 2 cups of flukes!! He stopped making stones after that.
I turns out that the excrement from parasites is very irritating and if they happen to be in the liver and gallbladder, the body will form stones around the excrement, just like oysters making pearls!

Not always true. I had mine removed at 16 because I was getting horrible attacks twice a week. Mine were caused by excessive weight loss and a prolonged fat-free diet. And I was vegetarian and low dairy at the time.
I haven't gained weight at all since the surgery. But I never eat cooked fats (can't handle them at all), and that's fine since they aren't good for you anyway. And I eat 80/10/10, avoid chemicals and take liver herbs. If I eat fat I take bile salts. It forces you to be extra careful about doing the healthy things you should be doing anyway.
I feel sorry for the woman who plans to "celebrate food with pizza and soda that she can not eat now." The body will be able to handle it at first, but give it a month or two of that abuse and she'll start to feel pretty horrible.
I am still pissed they got my tonscils when I was 6 and yes I want them back. That is all they are getting.
I believe anyone who cleans up their diet and thinking can heal anything. The body is a healing mechanism all we need to do is get out of the way and let the vital force flow. I mean when you cut your finger does all the blood run out. No it heals.
I have also tried Nvey Eco's eyeliner in black! I love it! I got it off Macys.com it's very hard to find it in stores a lot of Macy's stores don't sell it.
I see him stuck, and not doing anything about it he hasn't tried. In that I mean dropping the processed crap, being positive, and trying some fruit and exercise instead of binge drinking on the weekend or sleeping when hes not working. He has VITI...
I made this back in February and yes it's all raw. It's dehydrated sprouted crackers from Rainbow, with cashew cheese, tomatoes, pesto, avocado and arugula.
I would ask him if he is interested in making a dietary change and if he shows interest then that's great! If not, be a shining example of health and hopefully one day he will come around. He has to do it when he is ready otherwise he will feel it...
